Need for Speed World Goes Free to Play Discussion Thread

Need for Speed World has officially gone one hundred percent free to play. The level 10 progression cap has been removed and now all players will be able to achieve level 50.

VIP gamers who bought the Starter Pack before today, September the 8th, will soon be receiving a little present in the form of three free 7-day car rental vouchers for the three of the hottest and the fastest rides in Need for Speed: World. The BMW M3 GTR, the Lamborghini Gallardo LP560-4 and the Audi R8 4.2 FSI Quattro. What better way to say "Thank you!" to the most dedicated Need for Speed fans then to give them three of the most desirable rides in Need for Speed World? Check your emails because codes will be sent out to all of the qualified gamers shortly.

WHAT!!!!! OHHH!!!! LOL!!!
Belive me, I'm happy for all the free players and that we will have more racers.
But three cars for only 7 days.... That's not good!
But alteast we will have someone to race at 50 level!!!!
I hoped that the free stuff would exclusive and only available to paid racers like a special car like Skyline R34 or something which we could keep!!! But cars which most of us already own and that too for only 3 days...COME ON!!!!

Take your rentals back and give me something that's actually a reparation. Seriously, HALF of us already has one of those cars and you expect us to take this BS? This is absolutely unacceptable.

I am outraged at this, your unlocking free stuff for everyone? It was this game or the new Hot Pursuit. I chose this because all my life Ive been waiting for such I game. I (and Im speaking on the behalf of the rest of the community) believe we should be reimbursed in the form of a free Hot Pursuit. Considering we could have bought a game you have to pay for, rather than a scam for EA to take all our money then open it for free. This is ridiculous.

Terrible choice. Did they really think the paid players would be happy with this? Really? honestly, did you guys really think hard or just pull ideas from a hat?

Have fun not selling Hot Pursuit.. You just lost my money for that piece of crap.

This is all good because finally us hight levelers will get some race but i feel like I've been ripped off, 3 free 7days rental is * and EA know this very well because most players already own these cars. I myself just bought a lambo a few hours ago and i already have the corvette and bmw, so having them as rentals now because of EA is just a waste.

sigh people relax as a paying custoumer and one of the very first to hit lvl 50 (cap) I think I can fairly say the following

Feel Glad you people bought it for the only way to get more car slots is thur speeding Boost = real money

and for people that bought it I hoping that money is going to Develment.

Ether way YOU did not GET RIPPED OF AS EVER one that PAY GOT 20$ of boost I hope ever one that got boost spent it on Car Slots.
