So as some may know the Dodge EV, Chrysler's push into the not only the electric car industry but the electric sports car industry, is based off of the Lotus Elise platform. And let's face it. This thing looks like a Viper mounted an Elise and had a love child and the pediatric delivery guy was the one who brought us the twelve cylinder Miata.

So the even bigger question is. If the EV sells at least relatively well, given it's an electric car from an American Big 3 company, will Chrysler actually realize that a four seater, two door coupe via an Evora frame be a good idea?

Here's pics for those who need help envisioning it. Or actually I'd post pictures but I'm really lazy and think that everyone should pick up the slack. Not.

I've heard rumor the EV is canceled. Guess we'll see.

Nope, Dodge's EV is still kicking around giving out test rides to the journalistas. There was a video of a test drive posted on AutoBlog yesterday.

do you think it should have a wind up key, just in case the battery runs out?

Heaven forbid no. It'll have a really, really long extension cord with a cell phone charger attached to the end. :)
