Of all the forums i've searched including here, I really have heard some ridiculous reasons to not buy 10....

1) Crowd animations not realistic - Name ONE sports game where the developer has took the time and effort to make the crowd as realistic as possible, it's just really not gonna affect Gameplay..
2) Not buying the game due to the demo - How can you be put off so much from playing the demo, for 1 thing the demo is set on Easy Mode.
3) Augusta not in the game - This really has to be the most common reason but why buy a game for just 1 course. I mean you're not gonna just sit down and play 1 course all the time are you? It is beautiful course yes, it is really is.
4) Finally, OB areas not realistic - This is another stupid reason, I mean why not buy a game because of this? All i can say, you really should learn how to hit it straight!! They don't play One ball in real life.

You people really need to get a grip of yourself and need a reality check!!

There will always be those certain individuals that will never be satisfied with the way TW game is made each year.

D,it seems that every year people complain about not buying the game and then turn around and buy it anyways.Why?Because all their buddies do.

Those excuses are pretty lame.Between the Crowds and Augusta I had a good laugh.I can't believe anyone would make a purchasing decision on any of those points.

We all know that maybe the game isn't giving us what we want,whether one is a Balanced or a Tour player.Hopefully EA continues to try and work to give us all what we want in our golf game.Time will tell.

You tell um Super D. It makes you laugh really that some people can be swayed so easily after a 2 hole demo and lots of scuttlebutt. As to Augusta yes it would be great but I myself am still waiting for some braintrust from EA Sports to come here to clementon and digitize Pine Valley Golf Club. It is only the number 1 course in america. EA HELLLLOOOOOOO

I'm not buying it because I don't have time to unlock all the courses. I like to play the game but don't have hours and hours to do the stupid challenges to unlock courses. I'm 36 with a wife and kid. I just don't have the time. In 08 there were passwords so it didn't bother me but 09 I couldn't find any passwords. I know some people like to build a player and unlock the courses but I just don't 'have time. I'm not going to pay $60 for a game with 4 courses and 12 locked courses.

why don't we see if we can get a banner made across the front page saying:

THIS SITE ONLY FOR THOSE WHO LOVE TIGER & EA! ALL OTHERS GO AWAY!!

While I'm being sarcastic, many would actually have it this way, thus killing this site and possibly the game even more. Why not see if we can narrow this forum down to 20 like thinkers?
If it IS true that "EA listens" you need to remember that YOU and I have benefited from what "you" would term bitching and moaning. A few of those who have expressed frustration with this or that over the years, are quite respected on this forum! Surely, we should be aware that even those who claim that they are "finished" with the game, are first in line to purchase.
While I hardly have any complaints about the game, I say a big THANK YOU to the few that have persuasively helped to make changes, while I sat back and benefited!

Just wanted to let you know, in 10, the challenges are quite different from previous versions. There are the 16 courses, with 4 challenges each. To unlock each course, you only need to do the first challenge, usually very easy, for each course. This can probably be done in a couple of hours, while also giving you time to get used to the new bits of the game.

Greetings gang I had to post a follow up to my first post. unbelievable as it may seem I really was disappointed with 2010. i played it for about a week and got very frustrated eith the new putting meter. What the boys in canada must have been smoking the day they thought that up is beyond me. Iam now back with 09 happily playing a game I am comfortable with. Move over madden Tiger is soon going to be joining you as an out of work game celebrity. Later, MP

Precision putting is one of the best new features in TW10. It destroys Classic putting IMO. You do know that Classic is still in TW10, don't you? Plus the distances are dialed down and the online tournaments are far better than 09....there is nothing that 09 does better than 10...

And FYI....Tiburon is not in Canada and no none is smoking anything.....

Um.. the number one reason why Augusta isn't in the game is merely because of the rules that the country club has. No woman has ever or will ever play a round on that course. It is a place for gentlemen only!

Sorry ladies, but there aren't many sacred places left for men. Online or offline play with women on this course would be a trajesty!

Really has nothing to do with why the course is not in TW....

i agree with EA-Tim, precision putting is maybe a little more challenging but at the same time is still very easy.. and the online play is finally perfect.. no more lag when you are putting and trying to hit the putt 65% and it lags to 80 or something crazy.. its perfect, i normally only play tiger for a few months due to some amazing other games that come out in November every year, this year is Modern Warfare 2 =o( if i had no other games i think i'd be a top player.. but i'll settle with top 100 lol Congrats on making the best TW yet!!! and many more to come i hope!

EA IS A JOKE. THEY'RE ONLINE GAMING HAS BEEN A JOKE SINCE DAY 1. If you actually disagree with me you rarely play EA online. I have had 4 of the EA 08 and 09 series they make and been ranked in the top 20 in every game and #1 NHL for a long time but they dont know how to make a game realistic it is a video game I dont expect it to be "REAL" but dont put things in and take things out that ruin everything. And the servers are terrible and the glitching in every game is just terrible, yet again Im here buying their product every year. I finally gave in and said see ya EA way to ruin peoples fun.
