More of the sick og skate spots
more mega ramps that are not almost impossible to land
When you do a big spin or ghetto bird it calls it that instead of hardflip 180

proof that skating is not a crime
Skating is an art
art is not a crime
thus skating IS NOT A CRIME

skate isn't an rpg, why the * would i want to eat in a skateboarding videogame... some of these ideas are so whack.

great job by everyone on building the list so far. apologies in advance for repeating anything already mentioned.

1. please, please, please let me make a fat hairy black mf if thats what i want to make. in skate 2, there is a 1-dimensional bar for choosing body type, and dragging it all the way to the right gives me a guy that looks like a bodybuilder, and is not terribly big overall. i want the option to look like i weigh 300 pounds of mostly fat. this was done very well in skate 1, please make it similar for skate 3. as for skin complexion, please give us a more adjustable way of choosing this. one good example of adjustability is the color wheel combined with a 2-dimensional grid found in another ea game, NFS shift. you could use the handful of appropriate skin tones on the wheel, and then offer the grid for lots of variations within the skin tone choice. in skate 2, the skin tones are not very diverse at all.

2. please bring back the multipliers in spot battle. youve done loads to cater to those who want to skate realistically; those who just want to do outlandish stuff and get big scores in spot battle are a very large group of loyal and largely unheard customers who were devastated by the removal of the multiplier in skate 2. we made the best of it, and will always try to find ways to do what we like to do, but it would be a brilliant win for a large group of fans who isnt often heard, and have arguably been a bit neglected in terms of support given the whole of the improvements that have been made across the versions. if you really want to make our year, also bring back a double-grab landing glitch.

3. in cas, please borrow from skate 1 and let us rotate and zoom our skater as we try things on. having us sit on the couch was a cool idea but it doesnt give us the functionality we need to be able to try stuff. we have to exit all the way out and skate around or do other stuff to get the angles and zoom levels we need to see how stuff looks. also, separating things by brand is a great way to avoid having a huge blob of items that takes forever to navigate.

4. a couple minor items in spot battle (bring back from skate 1):

- have a round indicator displayed constantly so we dont have to wonder what round it is in case we missed the notification
- dont base the order on when we join- base it on rank
- make sure you keep the gestures active at all times (patched for skate 2)
- don't end the turn immediately at the expiration of the timer; give us a couple extra seconds to goof around if we like

5. regarding the online interface, it lost a lot of appeal in skate 2. in skate 1, i found myself often looking at pictures, video, leaderboards, watching the featured skater or front page picture/video, or watching/joining a friend in spot battle. in skate 2, i don't or can't do any of this, as it is gone and/or is not as user-friendly. please consider the way you built the interface in skate 1 and borrow from it.

sorry bro but ur points are quite moot; ive you are looking for that kind of play i suggest the tonyhawk series.............join based on rank? LOL most ppl dont even play the game online for rank now.........online is a joke anyways sd of right now. hawkers galore unless ur online with ur friends.... it snot even fun getting online in areas now cuz everyopne is too worried bout stats... * some stats watch some videos instead and make some of ur own i say................ high scores in this game dont mean 2 craps of a flying flip.......its about what you put out for the rest to see; we can all go hawk if we wanted toooo......but the editor allows us to stir away from that BS.

keep creature skateboards in the skate games
it feels good to be on a mans team
and when i grind a kink, i want to grind the whole rail, and not fly off
and what s upp with the pole jams i would actually like to skate up them.
more realistic...

I didn't read all 18 pages of posts, just the actual thread, so if I repeat, sorry.

The hairstyles should be super realistic. I mean, the middle part hairstyle is ridiculous. Sorry if someones hair is ACTUALLY like that, but who's hair is ACTUALLY like that? Like it should like the sports game's haircuts. They look pretty realistic. Like the afro has like a top layer that is weird, and afros don't have that. More distinct facial features, where everyone doesn't look the same, they can look TOTALLY different and like.... real people. ;p

With the clothes, they should have different colors for the same shirts. I have two eS shirts, ones black and ones white and they have the same design on, so yeah. With shoes, they have BETTER shoes. iPaths aren't gonna cut off. Leave the normal looking iPaths. Cut out the Catz and the Shearlings. You should be able to took your pants into the shoes likes Narcosis said, with the Supra Vaders and Nike SBs and Dunks.

Skateboarding:
-More realistic gaps.
-Better skate parks.
-Have a setting where you can turn off super gravity like "Tony Hawk's Proving Grounds" lol. Lamest game.
-Pressure flips
-Official switch flips, fakie flips
-Taxis and trains (like Skate 1, just with taxis)
-The original feel of OG Skate, with Reg's skate shop and transportation.
-Better off-board running and walking (looked clumsy before)
-Get to play S.K.A.T.E and Spot Battle with random skaters through out the town.
-Get to communicate with random skaters through the town.
-Film some random footage like in OG Skate.
-Get to choose your filmer/videographer.
-Free Filmer Pack.
-Smoother filming.

My idea is that to make your own skate bored while you are ingame.....rather then going on ea.com to make your own design...make it Ingame and have it over the whole bored not just a little patch of it

they should have reg,s and otha shops u can get sponserd by and random skate would be fun like u skate up 2 a spot and start a skate like a rail gap stairs or anything and catch flips

there's a good chance this has already been said, but i think it would be sick if the filmer pack had a sort of upgrade system. like you buy newer, better cameras, different lenses, such as a fisheye and got different effects and shiz

They should make it like GTA IV,so you can walk in the stores and then pick your clothes from there, instead of having to press up and then they load the clothes. & yeah, you should be able to get sponsored officially, instead of doing a demo and not doing videos with them or anything.
