What happening to getting the QBs, the CPU can stunt, blitz and get through like the 85 Bears, while my DE & LB look like the 08 Lions. This game need better blocking from the O Line and FB and the better pass rush. I shouldn't be able to rush 7 and not get through.

i appreciate the updates. let me be more specific

patchs = should be priority
title updates = should be downlodable content that you pay for (aka ultimate madden crap)
roster updates = sure like it is is nice.

i find that i prefer the patches that fix features that are IN the game currently i don't like these title updates that come out and waste time on NEW things when things that currently are in the game don't work.

If i were asked what i would fix in madden it would be:

title updates are NOT something i want them working on. when i bought the game i did not spend $60 for ultimate madden. i don't care for it and i don't want it. instead i want a solid game that works. not one that the patches don't fix what is in the game.

i don't mind minor issues (informatoin about teams incorrect or stats are a bit out of wack) as much as what i call 'show stoppers'. now in my 5th year in franchise mode, but i can hardly play anymore with this subsitution issue that is so broke.

will EA fix it?

this a 'prebuy' concern for me every year. for $60 will i get so frustrated over features that don't work that i don't even want to spend $60? This year that game was pretty good, though i still get frustrated over 'features' in game that don't work.

if it doesn't work, fix it or take it out. why leave these bombs of crap in there that destroy other features. like the substituion error that hinder my franchise play. it hinders the substituion packages and the depth chart.

please EA if you are going to fix anything, please change your policy and philosophy.

patching a game to be solid with what is in it should be priority. customer service goes a long way. If you want to win over the angry mob of people that seem jerky, then take priority to put out a game that is based on solid foundations then releasing a tons of content and then it not working and not being fixed. it shows up to bite you with angry customers.

I like madden, i like that patches, i don't like this misue of my money with these title updates.

If EA & the Madden team have shown you anything, it is that they will butcher the game and abandon it and not give you any way to go back a patch so you can actually enjoy the game. That is right, they will happily ruin their own game in trying to fix it, and then make NO EFFORT to make it right.

If you buy a future Madden title, then you forfeit any right to complain about it when they do the same thing... for the fourth straight time.

the thing i like the most is if u playing the computer it can and will actually play some defense as in the past i ran the same plays over and over puting up high scores on it. also u have to adapt on defense as the same scheme doesn't work everytime. the on thing i don't like is the running. if u hit a wide open hole u may get caught because the stick makes a cut when u moved on way or your man puts his hand on the ground and is tackled when it could have been a huge run.

madden 10 is alright but way too predictably and repetitive and the commentary gets old hearing chris collinsworth say the same garbage over and over...also i tihnk u should get a better commentator to begin with..collinsworth is a douche...get the monday night football cast for monday night games, collinsworth and al michaels for sunday night games only, i know this cant be fixed with a patch probably...but i also want to see defenders not being able to jump passes so well...its like theyre gliding to jump passes...on some routes like curls routes, the receiver should be coming back to the QB...not just turning and stopping and standing still...this allows the cb to jump the route half the time...also would like to see the goalline fade fixed...i notice the cpu is able to perfectly place the ball on the back pylon and give their receiver a chance to go up and make a play...but when i try it myself my receiver half the time doesnt even look back for the ball...and its usually a poorly thrown ball and gets batted around between 4 defenders in the endzone...another thing that needs to be fixed is when a defender bats down a deep ball, the ball should be batted down like in real life...instead of how in madden they will tip the ball and the ball will be tipped back and forth between 3 or 4 defenders for what seems like theyre just playing volleyball for 5 seconds at a time...CB's are taught to bat the ball down...not upand flat coverage definitely needs to be fixed to help us true madden players deal with those annoying cheesers that rocket the ball to their RB in the flat immediatly after the snap on every play...ill call cover 2 zone with a CB sitting in the flats and he still wont cover the HB comin out of the backfield..

yeah the stats are rediculous...the sliders difficulty sucks as well...all pro is far to easy to win in a blowout every game...while all madden cheats its a$$ off, i play on 10 minute quarters with 15 second accelerated clock and the sliders halfway between all pro and all madden...it give me a pretty good game usually only a few BS plays here and there..the game still just doesnt feel realistic...really what EA needs to do is just go all out and make a game worth buying, or just sell the license back to espn 2k so we can have a ESPN 2k11 to play this upcoming summer...that game was bomb!, ESPN 2k was years ahead of EA 2k5 had better gameplay than madden 11 does right now...only reason i dont play 2k any more is because its so old..and the rosters and teams have changed so much since then

honestly i think i speak for everyone when i say madden needs to make some HUGE improvements, or just sell the license back to 2k, just imagine a next gen 360 ps3 NFL 2k game...i mean they were incredible on the ps2 with 2k5...2k11 on the xbox 360?....man thats be awesome!!!...i loved chris bermans weekly show, the halftime show with commentary, the post game interviews...it was the most realistic football game i ever played

I don't think any one company having a monopoly on a game is a good thing. Why should EA really care about making a quality game when they can make a mediocre game without overly affecting sales? They think people care about Title Updates when most of us would much rather have game patches - like MarkDepper suggested.

I'm not suggested they didn't try to make a quality game. The ideas are great, but releasing a game that clearly wasn't bug tested or was decided it was working well enough to sell, just shows that the commitment is making money without concern for diminishing returns. "Corporation" wins again...

My impression is every time they update it, the game is worse.

Madden NFL 11 -- need to improve on Broadcast Cam presentation,,when we watch CPU v.s. CPU make it look like we watching the real game on T.V. ,,,

- fix Auto replays and Highlight
- Player running animation ,,,, in Madden NFL 10 player look funny when they running
- Fix the bench and camera cut,,,more detail on game presentation
- Realistic game play and player reaction...
- All around Camera angle,,,camera movement,,,continuous play the game never stop,,,
- Improve on Franchise mode menu set up,,,,make it like NFL.com and our game highlight on the background

Madden NFL 11 need to put Highlight at the end of every Quarters and better half time report,, Stat and player comparison
