Is it me, or is the post order in this thread a little wonky? Is anyone else having this problem? (I'm using Google Chrome, maybe I should just switch back to Firefox...)

Anyways, with Shift 2 coming out a few months later, is that move going to cannibalize sales of Hot Pursuit, or will there be enough of a difference to avoid that? I just don't want to see EA doing to NFS what Activision did to Guitar Hero-oversaturate the market to the point where nobody cares anymore.

I'm not sure if the "shift 2" launch will affect the sales of HP but does it really matter? i mean as long as i can have the game i don't care how many copies will be sold, just how many are made. & is there seriously gonna be a second shift?

edit:nvm it seems not that.. it doesnt fit with the sound engine + auto shifting...

seems like kinda for power-ups or w/e

blue bar is nitrous,on the left i guess its heat level..gosh that was i was fearing from burnout into NFS automatics only.........bummer

"We do have some towns and stuff in here but this is about driving on the ultimate roads with these really powerful machines - the last place you want to do that is in a city," he explains.

"In general, in Need for Speed in the past, putting the game in a city has been really challenging because if you want to make it a convincing city with a city grid, that's not going to be much fun to drive so you end up having to bend the roads round and the city looks a bit odd. Well, Criterion wants to bring back that old-school NFS feel, and that includes dash cams. After getting used to the dash cam in Forza Motorsport 3, you'd never go back.

Not pro street that was ( along with shift ) the worst NFS games ever made

If I buy nfs I want action and modded cars and cops thats what NFS is for me

Hot pusuit is good but a lot of the cars are very exotic I loved things like the golf in the first NFS
