Haha.. true, but that only means you gotta' get Dana onboard instead of each individual fighter. And that seems like an easier task to me. If THQ did not lock down an exclusive deal with the UFC, then I'd like to see what EA can produce using WEC and UFC fighters. Sorry to all the fans of "other" MMA installments, but the best talent lise in those MMA leagues, not elsewhere. And I personally would like to fight against the best. I know there are a few stragglers out there like Fedor and such, but UFC has pretty much all the best locked down. With that being said, pursuing the rights, or at least the right to use "Zuffa" fighters seems like the best path for EA IMO.
