I should be getting the game delivered sometime today. I will definitely post my impressions after I play it for a little while.

Just finished playing a scramble (me, Rob, Los and E) versus the Tiger Team (Travis Sailer, Mike DeVault and two other guys from the Tiger Team) and lost on the last hole!. Wii Motion Plus + Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 = CRAZY FUN!. Left the Showdown and bought the game. The game is INCREDIBLE!

Question for EA folks: Does this mean if retailers have the game in stock, they are permitted to sell it today? Best Buy, ToyRUs, Target, GameStop are under the impression the game is street dated for Tuesday, the 9th, and they aren't selling it before then.

The answer: There is no "street date". If they have it at Best Buy, ToysRUs, Target or GameStop, it is available for purchase today.

Call them first. Some retailers haven't received it yet apparently OR the ones they have are all pre-orders.

WOW!!!! Somebody from EA should get on the horn, because that would be nice. Several stores including Best Buy, WalMart here in CINCY< OHIO have it in stock right now. I would love to pick it up today. "HINT" Thanks

Just called local Gamestop. They're not selling until tomorrow. They're giving extra 20-30% trade-in value on old games with purchase.

Allright, this nerd has printed out this thread and is off to Gamestop. Picture an old man saying to a 18 year kid behind the counter, "See, see Jason Thompson of EA say it's ok to sell this game, look at this thread I printed out!"




EDIT: Meh, forget the printout, my 2 Gamestops don't even have the game in yet for me to even make a plea for a copy. See you guys on the links tomorrow. John better give us a full write up tonight as he's the only one here that has a copy.

I just called the local GameStop and they (supposedly) have not even received their copies in yet. I'll probably try again later on just in case their FedEx truck arrived late or something.

Good point. Like my high school basketball coach always said "10% of the people never get the word." That is why I continue to stress CALL BEFORE YOU GO! Store can choose to sell when the want. There is no EA SPORTS reason why they cannot sell today.

My tiger impressions
Weather and Crowd interaction is awesome in Tiger 10..Same with commentary. I started playing at Pinehurst with pouring rain, but by the 7th hole it was cleared up...Makes for a great change in the game, you really have to hit the ball good when putting if its raining.
