I was just looking on the Gamestop website when I saw this. Don't know if its true. Peace.

Battle for the Cup mode sounds like a playoff mode to me, which would be great.

The new Build a Stanley Cup Champion mode sounds promising, though I wish it was still called dynasty. I also hope it lasts for 25 years like last season. We'll see

ah, so you play in prospect games, and then get drafted. Cool, though this hampers my junior hockey hopes.

I doubt Gamestop would lie, I am sure it's happened before but this seems legit

The Prospect games seem very cool. If they are going to have a Battle for the Cup Mode, it would be cool if you could relive the amazing past game 7's or play as a dynasty such as the 1980's Oilers or the 50's Canadians.

I questioned that as well. Though the other stuff seems legit to me except for the names, it would be kind of foolish to rename modes

Like I said, I have no clue if this is true until EA releases more info. I don't think Gamestop has ever been charged with False Advertising before.
