Through a collaborative effort Intel and EA DICE are rolling out a new Battlefield map for players to battle on. Highway Tampa is a vehicle focused map that offers a game experience similar to classic 1942 desert warfare. Explore this stretch of the Arabian Peninsula in your choice of vehicle and work with your team mates to conquer the map for your team. Download the beta, join in the servers, and drive, fly, and destroy your way to victory. Then drop by the EA forums and let us know what you think. Also keep your eyes to the future as this stretch of desert will see combat across two generations of Battlefield.

Hey,

I'm new on this forum (didn't know how to make a topic of my own) So I posted this here since this was the Topic wich could be used for this question:

My Situation:
My friend just bought a BF2 disc (On wich runs Patch 1.2) but if he wants to download the patch 1.4 so he can upgrade it again to patch 1.5... He downloaded both patches, pressed twice on the Patch 1.4 and there happens nothing...

Now I run the Complete Collection disc with patch 1.5 on it. So my question:
How and where is he possible to download All patches needed to play togheter with me in the BF2 maps& Servers, like wich patches does he need? And is he than able to play with me in maps like Ghost town or only in maps like
Strike at K?

you didn't say whether he bought special forces or not. but as far as patching goes, if you have a low end computer, you might have to wait a while after you double click it to see it start patching. Also, you might want to tell him to download 1.41 and not 1.4. I hope this answers your questions. Again, depending on how his computer is can determine how long it takes to patch and also hope it isn't a corrupt download.
