He only has the record now for the best save% ever...Hello.. this just happen last year is that not what this game is based on last year ?
He's been the best goalie 3 of the last 4 years, including this one.
Lundqvist
Fluery
Rinne
Miller
Vokoun
Luongo
Ward
These are the 7 goalies EA has rated higher than Thomas. Ward and Fluery are the only 2 to win a Cup & Miller is the only one to win a Vezina (the year Thomas was injured & needed offseason hip replacement surgery)
This season only 2 of those 7 goalies have a GAA in the Top 23. Ludqvist and FLuery. Ward's GAA is almost double Thomas right now.
Not to mention Thomas was NHL player of the month for November. 9-0 for the month
Well said and I totally agree.... Why is the big question, maybe ask some NHL players and I bet they will tell you or heck ask Vancouver

The kid has been playing unreal so far, he really should get a good increase.
Goal scorer but also a playmaker, how can you not like what the kid is doing this year.
Thomas really needs to be the top rated goalie, he is playing lights out.

I'm not a hard core NHL fan by any stretch.
But the fact that Seguin is rated like a fill in guy instead of a prime playmaker and key player who had a great Playoff run and a good regular season.
In this game he is rated like a 4th line player

First, Seguin didn't have a great playoff run he had one great game. Other than that he didn't produce that much because he wasn't played that much.
Second, EA doesn't adjust players during the season nor do they really change players ratings that much year to year. If Seguin continues his pace for the rest of the year you will see an increase next year, but don't expect them to change him this year.

They changed Nugent Hopkins in the 3rd or 4th update when he was producing the same rate a Seguin.
Atleast * Madden and Fifa with Live season give you constant updates on players, even NBA 2k12 does a better job then the butthurt folks in vancouver.

I cant help but feel this is somehow related to the stanlry cup finals loss, but ea just sucks overall on player ratings.

Souray has a harder shot. Might be the reason his is slightly lower than 99. Still very powerful though.
