Hello i have a problem when im making a account @ battlefield 1943 ingame this is the problem: your gamer profile does not have the correct permissions to access xbox live functionality.

How can i solve this i buyed it today and now i wasted my 1200 microsoft points or what?

that means you only have a silver account you need a gold to play .......looks like you wasted 1200 points

I have the exact same problem and I have an active gold membership. I tried playing online in other games and i works.
Whats up with this???

I just bought this game for myself, and a version for my Sons 360 so we can play online together..

We both have Gold Accounts and I got the same error.

Was on the phone with Xbox Live, they said they have no idea why it's like that, and should contact EA.

I hope it's just a bug, because it's sure not a Gold Member thing.

Exactly the same problem here too, upgraded today from silver to gold so i could download and play this game. Had to do a gamertag recovery only to change my status showing on the dashboard from silver to gold. Now ea still thinks i'm silver. How to fix this asap ?

Oh and the tag showing with this post isn't the right one, it seems this site has problems keeping multiple accounts from eachother.

Getting exactly the same problems. I've tried taking the gamer profile off the Xbox and onto a memory unit, and then putting it back on the Xbox, but to no avail. I'm glad to know it isn't just me with this problem.

I think the tag is right because thats what the messege says in the game...... makes it easy for other with the same problem finding this post easy.

I got the same problem. Family Settings are turned off, and i got Gold.

I hope EA fixes this. I'll just stick to the tutorial until then

You sure you not on a child account? Xbox Live blocks some things if you are under 18. Sometimes really stupid things but that is what happens.
