I've read threads on PS3 game freezes, but it happens on the xbox 360 too. Every once in a while the game freezes my console which forces me to turn off the system. Any help repairing this problem from EA would be appreciated.

yeah i have xbox version and have frozen in game several times, even prompting me once to reset my router. Very annoying indeed. You have a good game EA, keep on top of these MAJOR issues like freezing and fix em.

Im not the only one at least...this is really annoying every 2 games the freakin console freeze and * me off too...
I dont understand why theres not a server list too...and why the only possibility to join a game is on quick match or with friends...who the hell have already 4 friends ready to join a squad at same time...

I was having this problem a couple of days ago and then I Googled it and found that when an Xbox 360 freezes one thing you can try is to clear your system's cache. It's a non-harmful thing to do to your HDD.

You go to System Info and go into your Hard Drive's device options and then hit X, X, LB, RB, X, X and then it'll ask you if you want to perform maintenance, and you say 'Yes' and then it takes about five seconds. I've had one freeze since then, and then I cleared the cache again, and I haven't had a freeze in two days *crosses fingers*.

Hope that works for you!

Mine didn't start freezing until tonight. The game has frozen three times on me already and in no particular situation. Once when I was flying a plane tailing an enemy plane, another time when I was waiting to resurrect, and a third when I was scoped sniping.

This is the first night that it started doing this, however, so I wonder if it's due to the patching? It's making the game unplayable for me . If it happens again I'll unfortunately have to put it down and wait for a fix! Please fix it!!!! I don't want to play CoD anymore! lol!

Happens to me too. No particular timing. This is the only game that has ever made my 360 freeze up. Very annoying!

Lock up.Hard System Reset...Play a few matches (if that)..Lock up. Hard System reset. Sometimes it freezes as the game is launched from the Xbox dashboard.

This needs to be fixed EA/DICE, because it's very "ANNOYING" and can't be good for the Xbox to have to be turned off like that over and over. The sound it makes is horrendous.

Thanks for your attention to the matter.

Random freezes here. Sometimes twice in a half hour or so, sometimes it's fine for an hour or two straight, then freeze. As other have said, only thing after is to turn off the xbox manually then back on again. Some official acknowledgement of the problem would be much appreciated. A fix even better.

I'm having the same issue as well. It's happened to me twice tonight and twice Saturday as well. It will lock up completely and I have to reboot the system.

There doesn't seem to be a rhyme or reason to when it occurs.

My XBOX360 is one of the first generation versions. I did get the RROD but that was fixed.

How old is your XBOX360?

Cheers,

Thank you for this suggestion. I cleared the cache and tried it again. Unfortunately I crashed again.

EA... help?
