ok so I'm doing a big gap, the trick and filming looks good everything is sick only one annoying problem. Right before i hit the ground i hear this thump then i land.

its like buh-bump! If you don't know what I am talking about do a big gap and you should notice it.

anyway it would be a good relieif if s3 didnt do that when I hit up a big gap.

I would actually like the return of the Subway system in Skate 3.

it encouraged skating from place to place, rather than just teleporting from challenge to challenge.
If I can cut my trip down a little by using the subway system to get closer, I'll use that 9 times out of 10, the other 1 time being when I'm in a rush or something. I say take it back to OG's system, where you can still teleport if you want to, but you can also generally get from one side of the city to the other without going into any menus.

Unrelated, but in OG, the GPS map in the corner had the streets on it, so you could better see where you had to go. this got removed in Skate 2, and I think it would be helpful if it made its return in Skate 3. just my opinion.

there should be team challenges where every member of the team has to do a different trick down a spot so that if the other team does it its abd.

I think this thread is probably pretty pointless at this stage of development...

Here's my list for what i'd like to see in SKATE 3 feel free to add your own.

Customization:

-Tshirt's with undersleeves
-Skinner button shirt's instead of the chunky one's skate2 has
-Polo Shirt's with undersleeves "Love em"
-Suits who didn't love the suit in THUG 1 i wore that only.
-Hair Skate 2 lack's good hair style's and most the hair style's look * in skate 2
-Hoodie's not all zip hoodie's are built for gangsta wannabes and fat people i want some tiny zip's that dont look chunky
-Ability to wear hat's with hoodies
-Hoodet tshirt's/with option of a cutoff sleeve flannel /something jacket
-Custom design an entire deck not just a middle
-Custom Design a entire shirt not just a small chest piece
-Custom design a whole hat not just the tiny front piece
-Custom hat able to be worn different angles
-Custom Design for hoodies,polo's,jacket's,shoes
-Able to change the color of all clothes/skateboard to any color you want "Same style as the TH series did with the color bar"
-Custom Design a griptape
-Griptape Designs "Call mob grip up and get the support they got some nice one's you guy's could make"
-Voice give our skater's a generic voice like game's like TH,SVR and some other's have done with created character's thus we finally talk making story much more interesting
-Rediculous clothes to like a chicken suit etc.

Music:

-We all have very different liking's in song's so let us play our own track's in Skate 3 from our HDD's
-Get the pro's in Skate 3 maybe chose 10 of there fav song's for the game.
-Japanese music please ASIAN POWER XD

Tricks:

-Update the flick it feature, You flick it for a 360 flip but dont let go the board flip 540 720 so on same with every trick release the stick when the grip is back up to land or upside down for darkslide's on it's side to try and primo ruff surface = slam for primo.

Moving Skateable pieces around:

-Please add a collect feature so that every piece of skateable thing you come across you cna collect it and use it when ever you want instead of lugging it up hill's and what not just to make a nice vid.

Video Editor:

-Instead of uploading to skate why not let us download to our HDD's
-Save footage not the entire reel just the part you edited
-For that saved stuff have a editor where you can piece it all together with effect's text your HDD music and direct upload to youtube
-Give us more effect's and different camera lenses

Pro Vids:

-Another thing i loved in THseries was watching the pro skater's in the game vid's Skate 1 featured some and then they dissappeared in skate 2 why it's always good to watch some real skateboarding.
-Motion cap vid's always fun too

Online:

-Host your own ranked game's with friend's and ahve the ability to change the mode/map whenever you want to."Be able switch from ranked to freeskate/non-ranked."
-Make manual's slow you down on vert and scrapping the nose for big air brake/stack you as it's not fun playing against those people
-Bring back Spot Race ^.^

Bails/Damage:

-Broken boards come on
-Hall of meat no need to gore fest is maybe just better bone crunching noise/ the death noise
-Bombing hill after hill bearing blowouts maybe?
-Blood drip down arms from scraps etc / maybe blood stains on clothes for same amount of time a dirt.

-No ridiculous stuff like what you turned X-games mega into =/

-More motion capture on every trick
-Do tricks multi times in mo-cap so you could have 4 wayt's to do a flip
-Different push style's like normal to retarded like rob xD
-I have faith you can do better offboard you guy's need to do madden offboard/uncharted climbing fences to secret spot's and climbing walls instead of moving object's to get up there.


Weather Effect's:

-Better water animation wet deck's/clothes
-Able to swim skater's dont drown we can swim xD
-Snow Rain Night Sun set & rise "Note: not heavy snow just light stuff for fun video's"

Remove Ipath shoes all together.

Not so many Black with white sole shoes.

Nike SB, Vans, and Emerica should be the most populated brand of the shoes.

I could have sworn bell bottom jeans died out in the 70's or when Phish stopped being popular.

And the baggy jeans just make you like a skinny male with Kirstie Alley's legs.

Toy Machine is the main board company that's been missing since Skate 1.

Oh and Globe should be removed as well.

I don't like Fallen but one pair? Come on. Give the kids what they want.

I think you should (indirectly) choose how popular your board company is.
You can be Element, or you can be 1031.
You shouldn't be running hardcore and then be on tv and stuff.

Well dang it, it's not hesh now that I said it is.

Even if they gave me just the new city, but kept everything from S2 the same, I'd still buy it. By that I mean graphics and physics


But if I were to add anything to the billions of ideas, change the story. I know it's been said on other threads, maybe here too, not sure, but seriously. Why can't my skater talk? He may have the best balance anyone's ever seen, but he doesn't know how to talk?! WTF.

stevie williams is in the tony hawk series believe me, i wish him and some of the other pros would convert like eric koston did. (rodney mullen, andrew rynolds, geoff rowley, bucky lasek)
