Hey everyone,

I want to drop in and let everyone know that several members of the EA SPORTS MMA dev team will be posting here on the forum starting later this week. Here's what you can expect:

- Dev team members will be putting up threads introducing themselves and talking a bit about their background with EA SPORTS and MMA.

- At this time, the dev team will be talking about real life MMA only and will not be answering questions about the game as we haven't yet announced any of our features. As such, he bulk of their posting will take place here in the real life MMA forums. They'll gradually be spending more time in the general discussion as well as we start to release game features.


Even though we're still a while from getting into game features, we want to have our team here on the boards early on to talk with you guys. They are big fans of the sport and we want to have a presence in our community as early as possible. Let's please try and keep this forum for real life MMA discussion only. Any game related threads in here may be closed or moved.

The team is anxious to jump in here so look out for them in the next couple of days!

I really like the fact that they want to join in on the discussions with us over here. The fact that they do not talk about the game in its early state right now is understandable, so it doesnt bother me that much. I've read all of their posts and it sounds like they all appreciate the sports, and thats all I need to look forward to this game even more!

Thanks Yari. The guys on the dev team are definitely huge fans of the sports, so it makes a lot of sense to have them in here sharing their passion for MMA and talking to all of you even before they are able to talk about game details. When we get to that point, you'll already feel like you know the team so you aren't hearing about game features from total strangers.

They are really anxious to start talking about the game so we're all looking forward to the point where that can happen.

Can someone PM me or e-mail me when they pop in. Alain has me busy on the Fight Night Round 4 boards (pouting) I can't wait to get into these guys heads. I don't care about the game right now. I want to see the knowledge this guys have on the sport first.....I can remember when I questioned the Fight Night Round 4 Dev team. I asked more questions than I did playing the game.

Its awesome to see you guys interacting. They all seem awesome, and it is definitely great to see a guy who participates in Mixed Martial Arts developing the game. I have nothing but utmost respect for you guys, and look forward to seeing what you guys put out.

Hmm I understand that they can't talk about the game, but will they at least look at the mma game forum posts for ideas? Cuz I've been reading a lot of great ideas that would make the game awesome so it would be a shame if those all went to waste

How in the heck are we supposed to know who's a member of the EA sport dev team when they post, etc...??

Ea i just wanted to take the time to thank you for making this game, ive been waiting forever for ya'll to make a mma game engine, and i am sure that it will be the best. I have every single boxing game youve created, just because out of every fighting game ive played yours have been the closest in terms of being realistic. Im wondering if you guys are goin to have specific punching styles within the created person system like you did with fn 3 and 4, because fedor punches like no one else in the octagon or the square circle, along with kicking too, cung lee for example, also can you press someone up against the cage and givem the randy effect and ware em out? sorry im asking alot of questions but im really excited bout this game, ive been playin fn4 and dragon age and just awing over the high level of potential yall can do with this game. any way good luck ea forever, oh and yes put a female division in there, wifey loves carano and sarah

im very impressed that the devs are here, just to chat about mma. Thats awesome, you dont get that anywhere else.
