is anyone else having madden freeze in the menus on the ps3? Once im in game im fine but the menus constantly freeze.

froze 2 times on my while exiting the online menu

mine does that in the middle of the game

I have not froze in the menus but froze six times in the first quarter of a game today.

mine has frozen three times on my just after the stadium intro when playing against the Chiefs.

Yup, mine froze in the begginer lobby twice. I had to exit Madden, then log back on.

ive completely froze on loadups to online games 4 times... and the menus sometimes freeze for like a solid 20 seconds then everything normal... this happens like once every time i navigate the menus... not to mention that online hub cuts out my music with the dumb videos that loop >_<

Mine freezes while on the Online Menu. Done it like 7 times now.

i dont have ps3 but have xbox 360 and everything is working perfectly all though i have been having problems with xbox live and not wanting to sign me in or anything but seems to be working fine now so gonna check it out...

yep, same here. 3 times so far for me....

All 3 of mine do everything you just mentioned. Yes, this is my third copy of the game and i put it away because i am so disgusted with the freezing. EA SCREWED UP BIG TIME!

yeah mine froze too like seven time last night, but I just waited a little bit and it came back (like 30 seconds or soemthing), I think it just gets stuck or something.

I've had Madden 10 for the XBOX 360 for two days. I'm in week 9 of the regular season in franchise mode (not on-line franchise mode but I'm signed in under my xbox live account, so I'm still connected to xbox live). It freezes up in the first half of the game during this week. SCREWED AGAIN! I hope Looman isn't making a 6 figure salary, cuz if he is, this country's going to hell in a hand basket. I'm sure he was reading off of a que card in the back ground when he was presenting the changes to Madden 10 franchise mode and stating "they" fixed all the glitches in franchise mode......welp, no you didn't. I've served this country for 4 years in the United States Marine Corps and if we had the same "dedication" that EA had about it's job, trajedy would strike this nation more often than EA lies to it's consumers, which is a lot by the way.

I played Madden 10 yesterday and it froze...so i rebooted my ps3 and guess what? My system will no longer read discs. I bought a launch unit that suffered YLOD after 1 year, then I pay $150 for a refurb replacement that has lasted me all of 5 months on a 3 month warranty!!! **bleep**...



AND THATS NOT ALL....Sony customer service wants me to pay an additional $150 to pay for a replacement to the refurb that only lasted 5 months and now won't read any discs!!! I am sooooo pissed off right now!!!! I take damn good care of my electronics and media!! This is clearly a product failure that shouldn't happen in a 5 month window of normal use. I am already out $750 for a $600 launch unit and a $150 refurb and it is only August 2009. Has any one else been thru this because I am reading some real horror stories about Sony customer service. This is just WRONG!!! They should take care of this widely known problem for me for free as they have done for others who were just out of warranty. Are they telling me that their refurbished console with a measly 90 day warranty is only good for 5 months?



I have invested too much in Sony products to be treated this way and I plan on pursuing this further. So beware!!!!
