They just waste your money. You can't see them (the upgrades) during gameplay, and they don't affect income in relation to ticket sales, etc., so it is a wasted feature.

Some of them do, upgrades raises fans and fan support.Some help you save money and keep stadium maintenance costs lower and others effect gameplay like the heated field....no more snow on the field!(mainly as a gameplay affect though.)

i generally buy all the energy effecient upgrades to bring yearly costs down, and i buy anything medical related to prevent injuries such as medical facilitiy, oxygen tents, laser surgery etc...

they should affect visually too. i know its a lot to ask, but some of the things like jumbotron upgrades and new grass should show up on the field.

I'd like the replay upgrades to provide quick replays (no red flag thrown) on close plays for the home team. When your on the road...too bad.

Visually the only things that do are the extra press boxes and when u accept a sponsorship it renamed the stadium to like knobby tires field or some gay *

It really made me mad the first time that I accepted a sponsorship, and Lambeau Field became something lame.

i bought the heated grass and that crap didnt work, i was denver at home in week 15 snowing like crazy and the field was covered, maybe i just got screwed but i think its all *. Franchise mode is and always will be the backbone of the game and the retarded dev team in Orlando puts it by the wayside every year.
