Hey guys, we are going to use this thread as the catch all Philadelphia Eagles roster and ratings discussion. Got a problem with a guy being rated too high or too low, this is the place to speak your mind, but please keep it clean. If there is a guy on your team that’s not in the game, feel free to post that in here as well.

When you bring your argument, make sure you bring stats and provide as much reasoning as possible. Rating s Czar Donny Moore will be stopping by this thread from time to time, so your voice will actually be heard by the guy in charge of making all of the roster and ratings decisions for Madden NFL 10. Make it worthwhile.

Vicks ratings need to adjusted completely because he showed that he still had his cannon arm so I suppose maybe around 97 THP. And I don't know about his speed since he didn't really run. We will get to see him a lot in the Thursday preseason game against the Jets since he will play the whole 3rd quarter at Quarterback.

Oh, his speed should go up a little bit more instead of just 90...cause it's really easy to catch him in online games, it doesn't even feel like it's him.

LE Chris Clemons needs to be added to the Eagles roster. He is the 2nd fastest rated DE on the team and is used by the team at LE in passing situations when they usually go to a four DE front. He's the highest rated DE on team in pass coverage, where he works well in zone blitzes. He was on original game roster but removed entirely in each update since. Also, I think LB Moise Fokou needs to be added just b/c right now u have LB Charleston Hughes on roster and I doubt he'll make team over Fokou. Also FS Rashad Baker has been released and signed with Oakland.

Make Maclin worse. He is * in real life.

LB Charleston Hughes has been let go by the team, so he can be removed from roster and replaced by someone else.

1-mcnabb is the best deep QB in the nfl so his deep acc shud be a 91 n mcnabb can still outrun almost all d-lineman. evidence of ween he outruns them in games. mcnabb has proven he can throw the ball further down field then manning from the qb skills challenge back in like 00-01. and if anything mcnabbs arm has gotten better. so why does peyton have more arm str top 5 throw power in nfl shud be 1 russell 2 boller 3 vick 4 mcnabb n 5 palmer shud all be higher then a 97 TP

2-westbrook has the best touches 2 fumble ratio among all HB in the nfl he has a 2-1 ratio n has a career high of 2 fumbles in a year. no other back who has started for 2-3 years has a 2-1 ratio like westbrook so his carry rating shud be tops in nfl.

3. just cuz EA u dont want 2 stack the eagles roster n cuz they r not starters dont make em bad. nick cole,jean gilles started games last year n played very well n shud be in low-mid 70s. justice shud not be judged by 1 game where caoch hung him out 2 dry. leaving him 1-1 all day vs umeyiora with no help or chips. also justice later started a game that year vs buf n played very well cuz no 1 heard his name.

4. abiamiri howard n clemons n babin shud all be between a 74-82 ovr they r part of a fearsome rotation.
abiamiri shud be faster cuz he ran a 4.77 n osi ran a 4.78 game speed cant have a dam 15pts diff in speed. abiamiri shud be like a 75 atleast. clemons speed shud be same as cole or better as he is considered fastest DE on team by caoches.

u guys had asante samuel as toop rated corner in ne. but wen he came 2 phi he has played just as good if not better minus a few INT. so why hasnt he retained his spot as best corner. cuz fitz had a good game?? guys like moss n marshall have had games against asoughma.

sheldon brow is they most underated player in madden on the eagles his catch shud be lower like a 57 cuz he get 1-2 picks a year. his run def skills n hitting shud be as good as most safetys as he always turns runs inside. 1 reason we have good run D, he hits like 1, ask steven jackson, reggie bush, n kenyon rambo.

sheldon brown gave up 1 TD in 19 games last season which was a fade 2 fitz. 1 TD 2 a beast. which other starting corner last year including 99 namdi say that they gave up 1 TD all year including playoffs.

quinten mikell made the 2nd all-pro team only cuz ed reed n troy polamalu occupy the 1st team. he shud be on verge of stardom like a 87-89ovr. he covered TE very well last year n was good all year in coverage. EA u shud pay attention more 2 the all-pro teams instead of the pro bowl teams cuz fans vote for the pro bowl n dont know wat those guys actually do n did unlike the all pro team where fans cannot vote.

akers is still 1 of best kickers his acc under 45 yrds is near perfect 19 straaight playoff FG. and he still has the leg 2 kick from 49yrds in so why in madden i cant barley make 42 yrd kicks with full power with no conditions.

need 2 create plays where we can use vick without pausing n making him the starter. n wen i choose the wildcat pass play with him i shud be able 2 scramble n not be forced 2 move like drew bledsoe.

EA i beleive vick has created more problems for u cuz he lines up in slot out wide wildcat n who knows where else. but in madden he can only be a QB. please stop restrickting us from playing who we want where we want. in depth charts i shud be able 2 put any player in any position i want fix this, u have it in ncaa.

bunkely n patterson r the next great DT tandem so why or former henderson n stroud, n williams wall so far n beyond better. bunk is better the sedrick ellis. put on the film. so he shud be better. patterson 74?? u shitting me he is almost as good as bunkley. just watch the dam tapes. n hav u not seen mike pattersons 99yrd fumble TD return he outran everyone. watch it n tell me his 59 speed would allow that 2 happen in madden.

also hank baskett is the only current player in nfl mabye history with 3 85 yrd plus TD rec. u guys r so keen on playing fast the why aint his speed alot faster then a 81. cuz with 81 he aint out running any DBs.
Avant has the best hands on team, hes best route runner n is best in traffic, as said by caoches n peers on the team. so in madden he sucks though. also his 78 speed is bogus he ran in 4.5 at combine n 4.49 at pr day so why so slow.

dont dogged eagles for not having an abundece of 1st rd talents which u always overate. n underate there steals n ghem the find later on.

4.4 speed is 4.4 speed being a 1st rd pick shouldnt make u fater then a 7th because of draft position.

Brian Westbrook should have one of the best carry ratings in the league. he's fumbled 12 times in over 1600 touches.

Quentin Demps ran a 4.39 40 at the combine. Having his speed as low as you do really limits his effectiveness as a kick returner as well. He should be one of the fastest safties in the league. He should be faster than most WRs and RBs too.
