NCAA 08 for the XBOX360 for me has been very disappointing due to the fact that a lot of features were left out from last years game NCAA07. These features need to be added back to NCAA09. I have gone back to playing NCAA07 due to it being a lot more fun and enjoyable. I have seen where others have mentioned the lack of these features also on other forums. EA bring these features back!

Missing Features from NCAA07:
1. New create a school
2. all div 1-aa teams
3. multiple camera angles
4. create a sign
5. create a coach
6. referees
7. chain gang
8. official team entrances (ex. clemson tigers rubbing howards rock)
9. realistic home crowd reactions to big plays
10. all alternate uniforms (correct)
11. real college atmosphere and realism
12. better big game celebrations (Red river,bowl games, nat'l champ)
13. fix the passing game (no deep pass in 0
14. keep video highlight
15. 3D grass (like madden)
16. upgrade home field advantage
17. corso picking the winner with the mascot head
18. add off, def, sp,assistant coaches on the sidelines (bring back coach)
19. make the sidelines alive (get rid of the cardboard pieces)
20. add everything in 2k sports and current gen ncaa football into ncaa 09
21. finally use the espn license and make this game truly next gen

1. FCS Teams need to be on the game without question,
2. The top25 FCS teams need their actual stadiums
If you don't believe that FCS teams make a difference then just ask Michigan!

As much as I hate Appalacian State, they, Armanti Edwards, deserve to be on the cover.

UGA plays GSU the first game of the season next year, I dont want to play FCS East or Southeast or something stupid like that, put the real teams with their real rosters on there please ea!

Try to make it more game like and less realistic...i would like to be able to choose playoffs or bowls...more freedom with unis make the socks and shoes team colors...have all the team unis...basically do more research into making a better game....i love the game i just want more...

I think you should have it so college coaches could go to Madden and the college college coaches could coach in the NFL
Have it so the coaches and prospects can e-mail each other
Have a U.S. Army All- American Game and East- West Shrine Game
Make it so see the school records for all the schools not just the favorite school you select
Make an option where you can clear the National 100 recruits and create your own list( I like using Scout.com's list or Sporting News and using real recruits)
Am I wrong or are the coaches on the other teams not covered under the coaching contracts option? If they're not then fix it so the coaches on the other teams actually get fired,change teams,or even retire
I think an athletic director mode might be cool where you can be the one doing the hiring and firing or maybe a combo where you be AD and still control the team you choose for Dynasty Mode
Make it so you can actually hear the crowd chants( I want to be able to hear my crowd yell WAR EAGLE)
Change up the commentary make where they don't say the same things over and over or maybe even get the regional announcers to call regional games

its definatelty time for a tv style ( horizontal) camera view.
we have been playing from the same camera view for far too long.
PRESENTATION IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ASPECTS OF THIS GAME.
AT LEAST GIVE US THE OPTION TO PLAY THIS GAME THE WAY THAT WE WATCH
IT ON SATURDAYS. THIS WOULD MAKE THE GAME BETTER THAN YOU SEEM TO REALIZE. CONSIDER THIS.

Let me stat out by saying that I like the NCAA football games that ea makes, not only because they are good games but because they are the only college football game out there. With that being said ea has become lax and lazy to some extent in making new features for their games. This is also a reason that I play COLLEGE HOOPS instead of that march madness piece of crap they put out every year. Another reason I choose to play COLLEGE HOOPS is because they let you create a coach from scratch and a rating system associated with which makes you either a good coach or a bad coach. The way you start out your career as a coach is you can't start coaching a power house school you have to start at a small school with little talent. The only way for you to be able to coach the big schools is to get your ratings up. The only way for you to do this is by winning and at the end of the season you get rewarded points to put add to your ratings and only then if your ratings are good enough will big and better schools offer you a job at there school and if you do not preform at the level of success that they expect you will get fired. Even with this feature in place they can still have it to where you can still pick the school you want to coach. All you would have to do is choose whether your want to start a coaching career or just start a open career. With all that said I would like to see EA put something like that in their NCAA Football games which will give gamers like myself (and the millions of others like me) more of a sense of accomplishment of the game and make us feel sort of like a real college football coach. And just if we could get enough of us to want this kind of feature in the game maybe they could get it done and we could all enjoy it.

I think that you should make it in 09 that there is an entrance. enstead of just boring camrea coming and and it starts. show like pre game traditions for big schools. Live virginia tech has a famous song that they enter in. play that and show them coming in.

Also when there is an upset make the fans rush the field. Or if the home team is getting crushed have the audience start to leave.

Make the audience more exiting so its a true college football experience.

1st of all. Congrats on making a very good football game. Madden has been disappointing since 2005 and I have been converted to NCAA08. The graphics are excellent. The numerous types of tackles give the game a special realism. The Clubhouse has a personal feel to it. Especially with your best highlights being displayed in the corner. The Trophy case is great as well. Programming the rankings has got to be tough... be a good job was done there. Thanks for allowing us ot change the controls to whatever we want. I use madden 2005 controls and its nice not to have to change. Bascially I love the game and the detail that was put into it.

Improvements -

Recruiting can be annoying. To speed it up, the time should just automatically be taken off without waiting for pitch to be complete.
Stop the automatic Corso pick for 4th down plays.
Tighten the controls. There is a slight lag.
8 Team Tournament style post season option.
The defense shouldn't adjust to the offense before the offense goes in motion.

Ok for NCAA Football 09,

Campus legend - Campus legend was great this year I thought and was the most fun gameplay to play. There were some problems i would of liked to be fixed such as making the players around you play to their ratings. By that i mean, I had a running back for Kentucky and the quarterback was Andre Woodson as you know, well every game Andre Woodson threw at least 2 interceptions and i couldn't do anything about that so i just quit the season. Then i Made a running back for UNC, their quarterback wasn't rated that high but in many games he would have like 4 touchdowns which really made no sense. PLEASE EA IMPROVE ON THAT!

Another improvement for campus legend is changing the whole high school playoffs, Yeah its fun for about the first 3 times you make a new campus legend but after that it just gets annoying playing all those games. Instead you should have the option of going straight to your high school championship game or doing drills like that had in NCAA 07 for normal Xbox. Also for the highschool games if you still do them, then make the stadiums have some variety instead of playing at the same boring stadium!

The game should have more upsets by which can happen in real life as proven of this years college football season! Plus this gives your team a better chance to make a better bowl game if your team had already had one loss on the season.

This is a problem that both NCAA and Madden Have and thats making the bowl games feel like actual bowl games. When there is a bowl game it should feel like a bowl game just like in real life! I don't have any ideas but maybe other people will, just Make it feel REAL!
At the very least have the teams running out of helmet tunnels...


Make it so you can have your campus legend or even just normal gameplay with division 2 and 3 teams.

Could you also bring back clear visors?

MAKE THE REAL STADIUMS FOR EVERY TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ALSO MAKE A PREGAME SHOW OR SOMETHING TO INTRODUCE THE KEY PLAYERS ON EACH TEAM AND HAVE CORSO PREDICT A WINNER WITH THE MASCOT HEADS!

How about putting it on the Wii. That and the PC are all I got and it would be great to play NCAA on the Wii.

CAMPUS LEGEND!
Could you make it so your campus legend has the option to play two positions such as running back and linebacker or wide receiver and corner in the same season?
Then when you import to madden you say what position you would like to import him as!

I disagree with the guy that wanted new camera angles, i like the camera angle the way it is and if you change it, it might ruin the whole campus legend so keep it the same or have the option to use either or camera angle.

I think thats one of the reasons madden superstar sucks because the camera angles are annoying!

sorry for the length. got carried away and have more than five. here's my wishlist for NCAA Football 2009:

1) i agree with the folks who have suggested pre-game shows. but i'll go one further and say i'd like to see a post-game wrap up. a certain other company's NFL game (ahem!) had a really fun post-game show with highlights and commentary that was really fun to watch, and i've always wished my favorite NCAA game would do something like this too. i thought that was a GREAT feature that added a whole new dynamic to the game-playing experience. in fact, i used to play JUST for the post game show.

2) occasional late hits out of bounds and the penalties they incur (not that i like seeing late hits in real life, i just think it would add to the whole realism thing)

3) an in-game trivia question (like in real tv broadcasts) during timeouts or during the play selection screens. Brad could ask us a question and the guys can all chime in with their opinions while we're looking at a multiple choice screen. you can make a choice and if you get it right, you get points added to your profile or whatever.

4) i hate how time can be running out while you're on defense, but the CPU still MAKES you choose a play. the whistle blows before anyone even gets to the line of scrimmage. i'd like to see smarter AI that knows that there won't be enough time to run a play and just lets the clock run out.

5) if the game is going to brag about "Featuring ESPN", i think it should actually feature ESPN. some kind of GameDay thing would be awesome! maybe before rivalry games, instead of us reading the history of the rivalry, the guys can be sitting at their desk just telling us, with a big crowd animation behind them.

6) new animations and cut scenes. if i break a big run, and i'm being tailed by defenders, i'd like to see some of my own teammates running behind me with their arms up in celebration. or if a certain player is playing well, the camera will focus on him and display his stats for the game, season and/or career. i'd also like to see a chain gang rush out on to the field to measure for a first down. oh, and new commentary. we get the same chatter from the guys every year.

7) bigger celebrations after a huge rivalry or championship win, as others have said. sure we get the water cooler poured over the coach but come on... i've been waiting years to see fans rush the field and tear down goal posts.

sideline reporting!!! during kickoffs or coming back from halftime, the guys can start talking to a fourth commentator who can say something like "i spoke with the coach as they were coming out of the tunnel and he said his defense will be using a spy this half..."; or after injuries, the sideline reporter can tell us whether or not we can expect to see the player back in the game.

9) i don't like the score banner where it is. makes the uprights kinda hard to see sometimes, which really bites when i NEED a field goal. move it to the bottom of the screen or just shrink it down and put it in one corner.

10) years ago, there was a football game where you could play certain historic scenarios. i think it was an NFL game, but i can't remember if NCAA had that kind of thing at some point. as an example, i'd like to be able to play as Stanford and try to stop "The Play". or we can be in the Texas/USC championship game on USC's last possession and try to complete the pass. if you're playing as OU, can you stop Boise State's Statue of Liberty play? that kind of thing. the actual game situation is recreated and we get a chance to change history.

hmm... i think that's it for now. i don't have much about actual gameplay, cause i've always had fun with it. i'd just like to see a little more in the presentation part of the game. i'm still playing on PS2, but now that we're in the age of next-gen software, changes and additions like the ones i'd like to see don't seem too unrealistic or impossible. come on EA, show us what you can do!
