if the game was on the wii then it would look mostly the same as the ps2 and pc versions so.....NHL 05 V1.3

Well if EA can make 2 Madden games on the Wii they sure as H e double hockey sticks can make a NHL 08 or 09 on the Wii. Canadian's make up like 85 percent of the sales of NHL games on all the systems.Here in Calgary they was a interview with a guy from EA vancover about 08 on the sports radio that said thous numbers.
i miss most of the intervew witch sucks but it is not surprising about the numbers.

I was verry disapointed when I seen no NHL on Wii. I regret to buyed a Wii and I will not buy any EA game because I am too disapointed of it. Come on!!! The canadian gamers want a NHL on Wii. Just release it in a few quantities in Canada and in the northern USA.

Would wii owners buy NHL 06 Version 3? I'm sure that's all they'd get. Next-gen NHL07/08 is too much for the Wii to handle. It's just one of the sacrifices one makes when they choose the wii fun machine. Don't get me wrong, the Wii is fun, but its price point says it all. It likely doesn't make economic sense for EA to have three different development teams for hockey.

i know that its not coming out for the wii, but if you look in wikipedia its listed as coming out on the wii, just search ea hockey etc, you kno, the obvious things

its made for young kids but alot of kids in there early teens have them

thats why they came out with the shooters but yeah most of the games r pretty lame

If you haven't noticed, Wii is for all age-groups. Do you put games like Resident Evil 4, Scarface and Manhunt 2 to a kid's console? I don't think so. I'm 24 years old myself, and I couldn't care any less about Xbox 360 or PS3.

About graphics.

I have played NHL 07 on both Xbox 360 and PS2.

The Xbox 360 version of course looks amazing, but in same time it also looks bit unrealistic because everything is shining, and I have to mention that on the Xbox 360 version the fighting looked ugly and stupid. My Gamecube NHL 06 has light years better looking fighting.

PS2 version of NHL 07 looked surprisingly good, actually really good. Without all that bloom and shine it actually looked somewhat more realistic than the Xbox 360 version.

Even Gamecube was lot more capable console than the PS2, so we know that the Wii NHL 08 can look truly amazing, even if its not up there with Xbox 360/PS3.

why is that something to try? most people on this forum have played both current and next gen hockey's. we can all see the difference duh.
