That press release seems odd to me. The place it's coming from is California, you'd think it would come from Burnaby since that's where it's being made. Oh well, I guess with so many sites you gotta get someone else to do the dirty work right.

That's simply because EA HQ is in California so all the press releases are done from there generally.

Pfftt... I was scratching my head when they announced Mr. Staal (not Stall) as the cover boy. No need to explain why, it's too obvious. But on the other hand EA has been known to change cover boys over the years. Ask Joe Thornton and Dany Heatley.

As for the AHL it's about bloody time! Now as mentioned above if they throw in the Russian Super League that would be a huge bonus and a slam dunk (4 me anyways).

No need to worry about Syd the Kid. EA has 15+ years to put him on the cover. They're probably waiting for him to win his first Cup then $$$.

but then think about it, wouldn´t it be better if crosby was put on the cover when he is in his prime even though he pretty much is already, but still, in the coming years he is gonna be kicking more and more ass. and 2k had better not get him cause they dont deserve him

I for one have wanted EA to put the AHL and the ECHL in the game for so long.i just hope u can play through a full season like you could In MVP 04 Just my luck there finale doing it and there are inoreing The Wii fans.The Dany Heatley cover will be a rare find i an glade i bought it one the day it was realsed. it is very sad about what happed but they both screwed up they both where drunk and dan snyder parents are still very close to heatley.
