: If wind speed in difficulty options is set to zero, the wind indicator does show "calm" as it should, but there remains a directional arrow. This is confusing and should be removed.
: the info box that shows up near aim circle often gets in the way. This is often a problem when using All-Play with a long iron, as it usually obscures view of where ball ends up. The information it displays is useful. Suggest experiment with smart alternatives, or as last resort provide control to toggle off or move.

That directional arrow is probably there for a reason. I know in past versions calm conditions still had the arrow and it was neccessary. I know in 07 it was the difference between holing a shot out or not. Even calm conditions had the slightest wind and would move it a touch. Maybe it doesn't apply to this version but it likely does.

: View problem - While playing against Jim Furyk in Tiger Challenge at Wolf Creek back nine, on hole 10, my ball was near front of green, with pin near centre. I used "All Play" with overhead view, and then used arrows. The camera view followed my aiming marker, and lost sight of the pin, which made it impossible to continue aiming using that view. From the "normal" view, it was difficult to judge how much power was required, as the camera was too low. Perhaps overhead view needed to zoom out enough to see both aiming marker and pin at same time.

All Play is a learning tool, but can actually be used to cheat. A few areas need to be addressed:
1. Confidence - should not be affected when in All Play mode
2. If All play has been used within a round, anything resulting from that round should not be save-able.
Mulligans:
Mulligans, like All Play, is a great learning tool. But currently, you can use mulligans and still build up confidence. This is wrong and needs to be addressed.

I don't know if this one's been reported, but it's a doozy.
September 2011, first full season as a pro. I've won the Fed Ex cup by 16 strokes at the Coca Cola. When I come back to the calendar screen, it shows the Cocal Cola tournament still to be played. When I back out to the main screen, the television reports that I've won the Fed Ex Cup. I back all the way out and shut off the Wii. Turn it back on and return to the hotel room. The TV still shows me as having won the Fed Ex Cup. Go back into the calendar, and the Cocal Cola tournament is still to be played. Check the confidence level- I dropped 10 points after winning the Cup with a last round of 48 and nothing above a birdie.
Huh?????

I'm pretty sure that the bug in question is #1 in the list. That said, I haven't heard of it doing exactly what you described. A doozy indeed! Do you get an extra trophy if you win it twice?
Here's another one:
Sometimes when you start a round, "Speed Play" decides to switch itself on automatically. This has lead to many people wondering why commentary suddenly disappeared.

: In Tiger Challenge, playing matchplay against Natalie Gulbis at Boston I was 9 up after 9 holes. I expected the scorecard to show "DORMIE", however instead it showed "9 UP".

... since the game doesn't allow for matches to be halved, DORMIE does not apply ...

: In Tiger Challenge Long Drive Challenges, if you put the ball on the green, you don't win that shot, regardless of where your opponent puts his ball. To reproduce: Long drive challenge against John Daly at Bay Hill par 5 hitting across the lake. This green is reachable in one. For drives, putting the ball on the green should be as good as putting it on the fairway.

Matchplay events are never halved, but holes can be. Dormie can apply in any matchplay event. Wikipedia describes dormie as "the score is such that one player (or team) is the same number of holes ahead as there are still to play". Other matchplay events in TW09 do correctly show dormie, and other than number of holes play precisely the same as in Tiger Challenge events against the pros. I can't see a reason for not showing DORMIE. Not that it bothers me, but it does seem odd.

Okay- just to complete this: the September tournaments showing include the Desert Invitational, the Coca Cola, and the Sheshan Major Winners. I have already won the DI and the CC, but there they are. I go into the DI and win it. When I return to the calendar, the Coast to Coast Match Play, which occurs before the DI, is now on the calendar, as is the DI, again!, the CC, and the Sheshan. I go into the Coast to Coast and win that. Voila! When I return to the calendar, the DI and the Coca Cola show that I've won them, and the Sheshan is now available. I quickly go and win the Sheshan, win Player of the Month (I should hope so!), and advance to October, where things, finally, appear to be normal. I have 8 of my lost confidence points back. I haven't had this much fun testing software since I ran a courseware development shop!

: Many people have reported that if you use "replay" (hit "1" button) after a shot, the ball does not necessarily end up at the same place as in the original viewing. This bug becomes quite pronounced and easily duplicated using the following:
1. Tune your driver to maximum power and maximum workability.
2. Use standard swing difficulty (advanced probably works good too).
3. Take a full swing off the tee and note where the ball goes.
4. Hit "1" to replay the shot. I find that the ball usually goes far right in original shot, and far left on the replay. The difference can be well over 100 metres.
When I used above on St Andrews hole #1, I aimed such that in the replay, the ball ended up on the green and near the pin. In the original viewing, the ball went out of bounds. So how many strokes would that be counted as? It was actually only one stroke, but with a penalty for OOB that would be two. In actual fact, the game reported that i was on my FOURTH stroke. I tried this again, but this time in the replay, the ball was just off the green. Sometimes that was reported as one stroke, sometimes two.
The "hilite reel" in TW08 was removed for TW09. If the above bug(s) is/are fixed properly, hilite reel should work well and so should replay.

: When you start a PGA Tour event, speed play will be enabled even though this was not enabled by a player. This causes confusion to many users, complaining that they can no longer hear the commentary.

There is one bug I have encountered twice but I can't really tell how i created it. I can tell you the result though. It happens when switching from a finished hole to score card or score card to the next hole. I'm sure I had speed play on at the time. I'm impatient and always pushing the A or + buttons to move things along. Sometimes I get the menu pop up by mistake and then press some button (not sure which one) to get back to the game. What has happened is I go to the next hole but the scorecard is also on the screen on top of the hole. Everything in the game seems to function like it should. I can zoom, aim, hit etc. The only problem is the card on the screen makes it impossible to see anything and thus play. There is no way out of this that I could find. The + button won't bring up the menu so I can't quit. The only solution is to power off the Wii. I never tried to play a hole and see if it corrected itself after the card came up. I'll keep playing around and see if I can duplicate it. (I don't think this has been posted before)
