great post.

as far as the wii tennis part.
that game is barebones to begin with, so u arent expecting much if anything. its BEYOND barebones.
but when u create a licensed tennis game with career and all that, they expect a bit more than just the bare minimum u can do to get by without calling it a glorified exhibition mode.

yes, i am a big season mode guy.
the fake part is actually cool to me.
it opens up the ability to add more to the mode.

but, fun, yes, thats will be the key Holloway.
2weeks.

Never had patience for a whole season. I like to play with friends. In general, playing against computer opponents never really turned me on except to practice for when friends come over. I absolutely LOVE the fact they have a 'king of the court' game. Great for multiple players while not having to play doubles.

I'd hardly call 3 courts at all 4 grand slams "bare minimum". Who else has even 1 grand slam? And are you serious about fake tournaments being cool? I can't imagine what's cool about that. Maybe you'd prefer fake players as well?

Yes but in the end all that matters is how it plays. I could never get into VT. I remember liking it for the Dreamcast, but then I bought it for the 360 and just hated it. I didn't like how the players moved. It was as if there were no physics. Players could just turn on dimes. It didn't feel like tennis.

But why are you already set on telling people not to buy a game you've never played and of which there are no reviews? Hardly seems objective to me. No doubt when the game arrives you'll "hate" it just to justify your pre-determined opinion. You'll find things wrong to hate.

Fact:

The OP is a clown, he works in a Gamestop in NY, should have done better in school.

Anyone who takes his advice is a bigger fool.

VT on Wii is struggling, it's a shoddy port, the motion plus is being tacked on right now by its british development team.

If you are going to choose between the two on the Wii is two sets up right now.

FWIW, in their Nintendo voice chat, IGN "slam" VT, saying there is a frame rate issue, and that GST is a much better game.

OTOH:
- VT is $10 cheaper...
-Ngamer reviewed VT and gave it 88. It's the only review of the two games I know of so far.

Ok lets settle down. He may still be at school for all you know and it may be a part-time job so don't get carried away.

Looks and sounds like garbage. I don't think they even tried to make Djokers animations authentic. just copied some other player's probably.

I will say that VT did a better job of the look of the grass. In GST the lines are too clear. It doesn't look as much like real grass.

Overall VT looks very arcadey. Doesn't interest me.

They screwed up on Noles serve..the defining part of his serve is the Arch in his back, he doesn't have that in VT

Are you comparing the Wii VT09 to Wii GST? Some of those vids were 360 vids.

The Wii is plenty capable of producing realistic grass textures. EA should have done a better job there.

Wow here in NZ GST for Wii is only $69 without Wii Motion+ and $99 with it. In USD thats about $40 US and $60 US. Over in the US or Europe can you buy it without Motion+?
