Thanks for this list break down. Still doing the 30 days but think I'm going to stop to make my work out all cardio. Just need an actual list of exercises so I could plan without turning on the game. Some of these lower body exercises are killing my knees also I don't have a lot of space to work out in so the jumping can be a bit of a pain.

Don't recall but are there some workouts already set when you go into custom or is it only the 30 day challenge that has workouts already made up?

Thanks.

I believe custom is empty but it offers you a chart with all the different exercises broken down by upper body, cardio, sports and lower body I believe, or something like that. You just choose the tab for the type of exercise you want and then choose from the chart. You can choose the intensity as well and it calculates the calorie burn and time for you as you add more exercises.

It's very simple to set up custom workouts and there is really no need to have a list of exercises to do it because they are all there to choose from. The custom setting doesn't offer all of the different things that you get in the preset challenge workouts but there is a variety to choose from.

You can also browse through the presets and see if there is anything there that you like. It offers some low impact choices and upper body only workouts. I've also found a few days of the challenge that I particularly like and so I choose those days from the presets when I want an extra workout or to do something on a rest day. You can always opt out of any of the exercises you don't like at the beginning of the workout by just clicking the box beside it to have it skipped.

Would someone be able to tell me if there are an abdominal workouts in Wii Active or are those only in the New Workouts? I just this for Christmas and i LOVE IT Today was actually my first day using it and i love it. I could'nt wait to do it again today. But when i was trying to look through everything i didnt see anything about abdominal exercises. Does the Active one have them?

Thank you!

More Workouts has ab exercises at the end of each workout, usually 2 different ones. Personal Trainer doesn't do any ab exercises.

Looking forward to trying out Active tomorrow. Glad there are several boxing exercises. I love my kickboxing workouts at the gym, so any game that includes them is great with me. I may have to get the more workouts to add the extras, but first I have to start using my Wii more often, possibly instead of going to the gym nightly. Interested in finding out what exercises are included in Active 2.

spore.Rainessa wrote:The exercises using the wbb wont show up unless you have it toggled that you are using the fit board. There are similar exercises that do not use the board that are used intead of you have the board toggled to off. For instance there is inline skating with and without the board. So, no they wont work without the board, but if you dont have the board, those exercises wont show up on your list anyway.

If you DO have a Wii board - what does it do differently? or additionally?

EASA2 - Balance Board activities:

Lower body-
Reverse lunges to balance
Side lunges to balance
Squat holds with balance
Squats to one leg balance
Fitness Activities-
Boxing Combo Station
Mountain Boarding
Several Step Aerobics, Dance, and Kickboxing

The step aerobics for example, keeps track of your steps with a counter on the screen if you have the BB. The lower body activities have added some balance checking to the routine that you don't have without the BB.

In my opinion - I would not buy the BB specifically for this game. It adds variation if you have the BB, however, I would make the decision on whether or not to buy the BB based on if you wanted Wii Fit Plus or not. I like Fit Plus (it has yoga, some fun activities like snowball fights, island runs, etc.) and I do use the BB in EASA for variation, but there is not enought in EASA2 to buy the board specifically for, it just adds variation if you have it.

Hope this helps
Diane

I see a list for Active, more work outs, but.. I do not see one for Sports Acitve 2, any chance someone can help me out as I would like a list as well to create custom work outs to the fullest capability.

Thanks, Diane,
I do have a Balance Board. The balance checking and step counting sounds like a feature i will want to take advantage of.
Thanks again for the info.

The list of exercises posted for EA sports active was much appreciated however does someone have a list of the ones in the 'more workouts' edition? I have both and I would love to have that list. perhaps that would help me decide which one to select as my primary.

thanks
