Adjust the Wii Sensor Bar Sensitivity to 4+ has fixed some of the delay issues i had when using M+.

i also found that if im using M+ and versing a player with no M+ Lob shots will often defeat me.
Lobs are more effective when using a non M+ Wiimote.

Why does motion+ have to recalibrate after every shot?

Having to quickly return the controller to neutral position after every stroke is annoying and if you swing with long strokes then you don't have much time.

I agree - it is annoying. Someone in another GST forum someplace (not EAsports) wrote that instead of swings, wrist action alone actually gives better results (stronger and more accurate shots). In other words, one has to keep the wiimote/wm+ always at the same place and just flick it to hit the ball. I tried it, and it's true to a certain extent. Seems like GST may work best if you think table tennis wrist flicking instead of lawn tennis. Weird.

Hi Guys,

I've been reading this thread and from my experience with the M+ it's about practise.

When i first played GST i could not win a game, Then i researched the M+ online and got a lot of info on that. And just went to the practise court and practised for a bit.

Still working on my serve but my skills are pretty good on GST, yesterday i read this guys review

http://www.amazon.com/review/RZ78BLZZ4NEBT/ref=cm_cr_rdp_perm

And the interesting line to me was

-serving in GST is not 1:1 - it is the same as wii sports tennis. You swing the wiimote when the ball is at its apex. You can control the direction of the serve (while the ball is in the air) using the d-pad.

I had a go at this yesterday and i must admit that my serve pressing the d-pad to the right was a lot closer to the center line (Close to getting an ace) when i pressed left it indeed did go to the outer left edge of the court.

So all i want to say go to the practise court and try all these button combinations, I believe that there is some change when you return a shot and press the d-pad, It could all be in my head off course..

Now all i want to know is how to serve with a bit of speed, Is it playing and getting your stars and gold or is there a technique to do this.

I played online a couple of times and either people are cheating or people are really really good....

Any way nice to meet yous all

am having trouble using M+ AND nunchuk. IT is fine if I use M+ without the nunchuck, or the chuk without the M+, but when trying both the whole thing just feeezes. Any sgguestions anyone?

IS there a link somewhere with all the mean moves for online games, I simply don't get how some people manage to serve so fast and move so fast. Does it matter at all what character you use online?

may i add pressing forward on the nunchuck adds to the depth of ur seve while pressing back makes ur shot less deep and draws ur opponent to be offensive .the depth of the serve can compensate slow serves of the defensive baseliers :>
