Things I think can be improved:

- Salary Cap and Contracts Last time I checked they don't exist online. It would really give a real franchise feel as well as stop ridiculous trades and vulture feeding of the free agency.

The Rock's Thoughts:

Things I like about the Online Franchise Web Experience:

- Fantasy Draft
- Stat tracker
- Overall experience

Things I did not like:

- why can't we have the option for user control teams. what if i can't get 32 users or 20 or even 8.

I would like that feature because if I play just with another user we could have fun using all the teams and we wouldn't have to worry about other people not getting there games in on time or cheating or anything like that...

Why can't you give us the option to change the teams for cpu to user control?
I would like to play a franchise just between a few friends and would like to compete against each other.
How could we, if you don't get enough people... the rest of the teams are CPU controlled....

Why can't I play a 10 team online franchise and make our own schedule own division?
We could do that in other sports game... NBA2k and MLB...

All I want is the option make the team (user controlled).....

Please respond...

Also, EA must have the absolute worst servers in the history of the planet... Every time I try to go on "AUTHENTICATION ERR" or the servers are down or whatever... it's incredible

Good: Website is a great tool for coordination of games and scheduling. News board is a great feature as well as message boards.

Bad: There are some problems that others have mentioned...
- Lack of Salary Cap/Contract info is a problem. This allows for too much abuse of free agent and trading system ultimately hurting the "live simulation" feel of the online franchise mode.
- Messed Up Message Boards. I can't tell you how frustrating it is to try to post a news announcement only to be told that the message is too long even though the website says I have 120 characters left to work with.
- What Profanity? Again, a message board beef - writing a news announcement only to be told that profanity is not allowed. What dictionary are they working from when a notice on the week's start and end dates is considered "too racey" for the internet message board?

Anyway - I really think this is the right direction for the franchise. Being an Owner in an Online Franchise has the potential for an entirely new level of immersion; if only EA could clean up some of the real problems that have been pointed out here and elsewhere.

Things I like about the Online Franchise Web Experience:

- The theory of a web tie-in

Things I think can be improved:

- Server stability
- Stats are showing up for the wrong teams
- Performance

General notes about Online Franchise Web Experience:

This thing is a turd. It almost makes me wish EA needed to submit web site tie ins to 1st party.

Things I like about the Web Site
- Presentation, looks fantastic
- Ease of navigation

Things that can be improved
- Scoring summaries score progressions do not seem to follow any kind of logic

- I don't think non-commissioners can add or drop players (not sure on this, but my friend has been complaining about that)
- Individual stat summaries sometimes appear on the wrong teams (same game from that screen, the chargers players are listed raiders and vice versa)
- Message board seems broken. We have three threads right now and any attempt to create a new thread instead appends a response to a previous thread.
- The ability to change the draft timer for the fantasy draft
- player overalls don't change to reflect their skill at the current position when setting the depth chart.
- Roster filtering similar to on the console (filter by position)
- support for new lines in message board posts ('\n' or <br /> )
- The ability to change player information from the website (jersey #, position, etc)
- Player search (very helpful for post fantasy draft)
- The ability to advance to the next week
- The ability to change league settings from the website
- League name and Owner search don't seem to work correctly.
- I think requiring a user to be logged into EA Sports World site before getting access to the online franchise site would prevent the "AUTHENTICATION ERR" instances, rather than allowing a user to go straight to the online franchise site to log in.

That's all i have for now, i'll try to find some more areas for feedback and post them later

They can't, and I'm pretty sure they're not supposed to be able to. Add/Drop players exists as a way for the Commish to either force a trade or represent a trade between CPU teams. It's not designed for normal users to have the power over. That's what Trades and Signing/Releasing players is for.

So far I only have two major issues (most of the features missing were well documented before release)
- There doesn't appear to be a way to Advance a franchise from the online site. This would be very nice.
- Something unusual has happened to statistics in the league I'm in: http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/296894.page

The best way to do this might be to post 3-5 things you like and 3-5 things you think can be improved. This thread isn't for asking questions about the game, it's for impressions only. EA folks will be reading this thread, but not responding here Feel free to post as many impressions as you like, but try and keep them as organized as possible to everyone can read them.

Feel free to copy and paste this template for your impressions. I know it will make it easier to follow and read for those of us EA folks who read through all of it.

That was my point, it seems not commissioners are unable to release and sign players. I guess i made a poor choice of terminology when i used "Add/Drop".

All-Madden Running: I think running against the CPU on all-madden is way too hard. I play with the panthers and Deangelo William and Jonathan Stewart, so there is no reason why I should average under 3 yards a carry every game. You mite just guess I suck but I have to play on all-madden because it gives me competetion.

All-Madden CPU QBs: Also why does every QB on all-madden CPU play like Tom Brady, even the backups. They never get sacked, and their passes are always right on the money.

All-Madden CPU D-Line: ThE D-line always gets pressure no matter if you run out the pocket or stay in the pocket. What is the pocket for if i can only stay in it up to 3 seconds befor I have a l lineman in my face. I understand that a good D-line doesn't give the QB too much time to throw, but I also know that a good D-line does not get pressure every time the QB drops back.

All-Madden D-Line: My D-Line is pretty good, but agains the CPU why do I only get about 7 sacks a season, and Julius Peppers averaging 4 sacks a season. Also my D-line seems to never get pressure on the QB, and if I do get pressure on the QB he always throws the ball right before I hit him.

All-Madden CPU INTs: Why does every ball that touches the defense hands (even the D-line) seems to be a interception? just wanna know

All-Madden INTs: Against the CPU it is impossible to catch a INT on all-madden, no matter who the QB is and how many times you get your hands on the ball

All-Madden CPU WRs: These guys never miss a ball no matter what their catch rating is

All-Madden WRs: Agianst the CPU alot of times Steve Smith misses very easy passes that I know he could've caught with his hands tied and his eyes closed.

Look I know that All-Madden is suppose to be hard, I understand that, but lets also make it realistic.

The game is awsome but the online leagues could be 10x's better.

Allow games to be played flexed instead of going week by week. That way when 2 players are on at the sametime games could be played and more leagues would finish.

Do you know if they will be adding Free Agent roster access to regular users in Online Franchise from the web? Right now only admins have access to the FA's via the web. You access the Free Agent pool by clicking on Rosters and then at the top right click Franchise Actions.
