seriously guys, if you dont want to/cant wait, just give them a call, my call time was under 7 minutes (checked the phone records)

They were helpful on the phone, understood the problem, took my details and quickly had me activated within moments of having the info.

Its a standard rate call on a landline, so you dont have to worry about digging deep to pay for the call


Obviously im not happy about not having the code in the first place, but i have no complaints what so ever about the way it was dealt with, except that ive had to spend alot of time explaining to friends that they dont have to buy online franchise.

EA needs to come up with a way to tell all the owners of madden 10 about this error, and not just those who come to the forum. Maybe a notice on xbox dashboard (or the PS equivalent)?.

what if an activation code was purchased and you still can't access online franchise because you get an error message every single time stating that the server is unavailable, on the console....another fun development for an already lame issue that should've have been worked out before the game hit shelves. Dont advertise things you cant deliver. I guess it doesnt matter though because it will never hurt sales so they really dont have any obligation to provide the services that are advertised. Half the people in my league can't access the site because it's down 23 out of 24 hours per day, and another few have activated their online franchise through either code on manual/customer support/or purchase of online franchise, and still can't connect due to server errors everytime they try to log on from console. Fun stuff.

I just finished a conversation with 'Victor' on the support chat. I got through within a minute, and after a few questions he activated my online franchise feature, and I have just confirmed that it works!

Really glad i got this sorted had an online chat with 1 fella and it was sorted it 5mins good stuff Shame a sat in the lobby for 2 hours askin ppl for help with no joy its on the back of the manual its on the back you stupid muppet until a lad sorted me out

It is crazy that you can't control multiple teams on an online franchise. I have 4 friends that I grew up with and we played offline of course b/c we lived in the same town, but now many of us have went off to college or moved for our careers and thought we could create an online franchise only to be let down my EA Sports. Although I am just one customer this is my last year of Madden officially for this reason. This is a terrible injustice. Do you not make enough money already???

After 10 seasons do you have to pay to be able to start another franchise?

Do the LIVE Chat on this site with a EArep, its a lot faster and takes minutes, the rep went ahead and manually applied the code to my account and said I should now be able to view my online franchise in-game.

I have a code from the back of my game but I don't know where to type it :/. I click to online chise and all I get is a msg saying check the EA store wtf.

ya i started a new user account for my son and now i have to pay 10 bucks for him to play franchise b/s

Not missing the code but I am being asked to reactivate the online franchise. And the code does not work
