In your setup instructions for creating our Club, you say that on Facebook, we should select Applications from the bottom left hand corner of the screen then select “Ads and Pages”. Select pages from the top to begin your fan page.
However, when I select Applications, it's not offering me "Ads and Pages". All I see in the popup list is Photos, Videos, Groups, Events, Notes and Gifts.
Now I am a complete Noob to facebook, so if you could give me a hint as to where I'm going wrong it would be much appreciated
Try this, it will send you straight to the page to create a club - http://www.facebook.com/pages/create.php
Worked like a charm , my club is now up and running, thank you Sir

Let me see if I can address some of the comments and questions I have noticed in this thread.
Users on multiple clubs:
If a user wanted to be on multiple clubs that is completely up to them, there is no limit.
Duplicates in the same club:
This actually would be a disadvantage to the team in potential “club vs. club” matches in that users on a selected team listed as members would be accounted for or weighted in the tournament. Adding duplicates in the same club means that more people will be representing your team. If you have 10 members and a few are duplicates if they do not show up and compete in the tournaments this will have a negative impact on the team.
Tournament Difficulty:
These VIP Tournaments will be at the discretion of the team and or club organizer. Most will be created under Tour Pro settings however if there is a beginner team that is selected, amateur settings can apply only note that rounds submitted under the amateur setting are not weighted as high as Tour Pro rounds. If a team is selected for a club vs. club battle that we will post on your clubs fan page and inquire to the difficultly desired. Remember you will only see your clubs tournament and leaderboard in game.
To help us on setting difficulties, in the little description box on your fan page write your teams preference.
Courses:
These would only be original courses in the game and not require DLC.
This all depends on you the community and will be based off of feedback you provide. If you have suggestions on how this could work, or ways to make it better we are all ears!
We do have quite a few cool ideas that will be coming to Live Tournaments that are purely a solo effort.
To tease a few….
The million round challenge: This is an individual effort as we are close to 1 million rounds submitted for Live Tournaments and whoever submits the 1 millionth round will receive an autographed cover of the game by Tiger Woods
The million clip challenge: This is another individual effort in which the user who submits the 1 millionth GamerNet clip would receive a similar prize.
The Tiger Woods Fan Page Fan Count: This is in order to drive information about the game and would simply require anybody to become a fan of the official Tiger Woods PGA TOUR10 facebook. This would unlock Live Tournaments that have incredibly high purse amounts that will shake up the money leaderboards.
Also, as we mentioned on this thread and through our Tiger Woods facebook page, this is all about the community. So if you have any cool ideas of things we can do please by all means let us know.

While it COULD be a negative impact, it more than likely will just make a team stronger. If CCC, Hands, Bigdog, Dueces...etc created multiple names, and put them on one team then they would more than likely be the winning team.

Agreed. Well I don't know the players you are talking about personally, but stacking a team with multiple copies of the same excellent player will give a big advantage.
It could work this way:
1. Single submissions only.
2. Instead of taking the average for all matches played, you could require that everyone on your team plays and then take the average of the best round recorded and the worst round recorded and discard everything else in the middle. If your entire team doesn't play, then your club doesn't get a submission.

I am confused by the difficulty setting thing.
This will be a combination of Amateur and Tour Pro play?
You said: "rounds submitted under the amateur setting are not weighted as high as Tour Pro rounds", how do you determine what is a fair weight for Tour Pro?
What I am asking is, will our club compete solely against Tour Pro clubs?
Sorry if I sound a bit lost. I guess I am.

This is all good feedback so please keep it coming.
The Amateur vs Tour Pro clubs is an option taking into consideration new players, but it appears the community likes Tour Pro and I would imagine most matches would be on the Tour Pro setting. We would try to keep potential future matches even selecting clubs with the same difficulty.
In regards to scores being weighted differently for example if there was a case of Amateur vs Tour Pro a birdie on amateur would be say 2pts while a birdie on Tour Pro would be 2.5pts.
We are still working out the details if this picks up. We are starting to see some more buzz about this and a few more clubs created. We also look forward to feedback and any and all suggestions of how to make this idea grow.

When you become a fan of a club, simply make a comment so the organizer knows you want to be apart of their team and they can then list your gamertag and or PSN ID under the members.

I agree 100% with the single submission deal.....and it would be great to take it one step further....1 entry only and no restarts. That would be a truer representation of the skill level of the players and eliminate mulitple restarts trying to map out the course.
It's going to be impossible to always get 100% participation. If I understand this correctly then this event will be an ongoing thing that continues well into the future. Guarenteeing that the entire team can always play when considering vacations, illness and other scheduling conflicts would be all but impossible. Perhaps a minimum participation from a registered team (say 75%) might be a requirement.

yeah, that's what I meant with single submission. One entry only NO RESTARTS. Quitting results in DQ as well as your score adjusted to the highest on your team plus 10.
