Hi, I have gone through the stages of creating my gamerface eg uploading the pics, front and side and putting the points on my face. When it comes to creating the gamerface there is an error message coming up when trying to create "server not responding" can you please shed some light into this? I am so excited about putting my face in Fifa. Cheers Jay

People need to stop getting excited, it will get fixed when it gets fixed, things go wrong sometimes, Ea have said they are trying to fix it, let them sort it, its not really an issue if its fixed in 3 days or 3 weeks, just play the game.

7.48 pm uk time, fw website works but gameface is still down, come on EA, how long is this going to take ?

lol the thing is everyone can still play the game (which is excellent by the way, with or without my ugly mug running around the pitch), then add your face later. Everyone seems to be moaning and yet this is still at beta yet. Ea should have proberly only opened this new tech to a few thousand testers first then opened it to everone after all the kinks where ironed out.

i agree so wot u cant put ur proper face on a player at the minute but u can still build ur player up and then wen the game face is up and runnin people will have * hot players that they can put their faces on and play online. take ur time EA no point rushin 2 get it up and runnin then havin 2 shut the site down agen cos summet else is * up we just gotta b patiant theres still loads we can do on the game .

I should have learned my lesson after being duped into upgrading Tiger Woods on the basis of Game Face, only to find out that it didn't work. It was still being trumpeted on the box six months later though, wasn't it?

Having bought the last five FIFAs I wasn't going to bother this year - slight tweaks and updated squad lists aren't enough to make me part with £40 - but then I saw Game Face had been introduced. Great! Saves me mucking about for hours trying to make a player who looks the spit of me (look kids, when you're 36 and past playing real football to any standard, you'll be reduced to this too).

So surprise surprise, the first time I try to upload the Game Face I made for the Tiger Woods debacle, it's bust.

Well done EA, great job all round - again. At least I kept hold of FIFA 09 so I can take this one back for a refund.

Its unbelievable, the amount of conceited, egotistical people who are posting on these forums regarding the 'Game Face' BETA (I stress that word).

I can see the fun behind having your own face in the game, but does it really make a big difference to the game? no is the answer you're looking for.

A great added extra from EA, and when I used it after they first released the BETA version (around a month ago), have found it a great tool.

Although its subjective, the real football gamers will appreciate that FIFA 10 has surpassed its predecessor, and after playing the demo of PES 09, its taken that to the cleaners once more. I am a neutral, I'm Pro good football games, and after Fifa 08, I have been Fifa's to lose..and so far they have not disappointed.

They Game Face programme looks like its working again, but seriously, I question anyone who is considering or who is taking the game back because you can't import your face..and then to post it into a forum is even worse. It really is laughable. Why on earth would you by a game on the basis of a 'game face' application? You can still create yourself and import a gameface onto your player at any stage of the game...incase you're not happy, and EA hasn't made you beautiful enough..I await the myriad of posts that are complaints about that..it clearly will happen.

Anyway, rant over. Thanks EA, FIFA 10 is a winner!

I could very well be wrong, often i am, this one time last month when i was getting on a bus... sorry got distracted... oh yes, didn't they say that Fifa's gameface wasn't compatible with Tiger wood's one? i thought they were basically completely different software. Or was that just the fight night stuff. Ah who cares anyway, you are 36, no one wants to see your wrinkly harrowed face. They only want to see my youthful 24yrold mug.

how the hell is fifa10 the winner? and since when has the gameface app been the only probllem? how about the addidas live not working? how about there online functions not working? i scored a screamer 47 yard goal and couldnt upload it due to there ineptitude so for those that continue to kiss ea's backside saying oh its ok we'll wait we dont mind waiting...love you ea....well kiss there fat backside all you want as its beyond a joke that there online isnt working since friday!!!! oh and what the hell does pes have to do with it...that fooookin games not even out yet!

Realy??? perhaps they shouldnt advertise it on the back of the * box... the is false advertisment and its not thr first time EA have done this, but it is the LAST time i by an EA game.. i have had nothing but bad expireances with thme... I got Battelfield bad company 2 weeks ago and cant get online... "Cant connect to EA server" * rubbish... all they want is money.

I do think there is an issue with it still being a BETA actually. Not that i care too much about gameface but i dont think any company should advertise a feature on the game that isn't available in a finished version at launch. I'm sure fixing the BETA, which had quite a few issues your a lucky guy for not getting stuck with any, took longer tan they thought and if they hadn't had this seperate server problem they probably would of released a finished build by now, but still advertising a feature on the box that is only a BETA is... well practically lying. and lies make baby jesus cry!

exactly, dont have a feature, 2 actually if u count live season in a game for launch, and they dont work or work properly, its still down as i type this, even though im enjoying the gane as it is I`m seriosuly considering not buying any more of your games EA.

Hey this feature is going to be good when it eventually happens! But don't get so obsessed about putting your face into the game so you can live out your fantasy. You still won't actually be a professional footballer because we simply ain't good enough. i'm 26 and still haven't been scouted to play for Liverpool. Just play the game for what it is
