However, I can honestly say this: Game stores don't like to lose money. Halo 3 was rated M, and I've seen little kids, and by that I mean 12-year olds and below, walking in with their mommy and buying it. How many of those little 12 year olds and Halo 3 that you hear actually have their Mom behind them watching them? I'm not even 18 and I know they those clerk in the stores would trust me if I suddenly walked in and wanted to buy Gears of War.

Only thing I can say about those over-protective, obsessive moms is basically that they don't know how stupid that will be in the long run and their kids lives in the future.

Firstly 3/4 are you kidding? more like 99/100 1 in every hundred people between 13 and 17 is mature. One of them being myself. And I am not going to lie, I am 15 but I believe myself to be mature enough for a M game like GTA4 which is so hated upon. The swearing yes I may repeat on a regular basis but everything else no. Same with this game which is much less in the (Badness) department.

Secondly how old are you anyway because you bash on all the younger audience like you have a right to whereas most of us on the forums are very mature by the fact we have posted at least 50 times. Little idiotic children post three posts thinking they know what they're doing when they have know clue. And by your post I couldn't tell if you are over 18 or under. Neither of which I will criticize you for.

And I think I've posted here before but I Believe I guessed, Rated M (For Your Mom)

Well, I'm not over 18, but I agree with everything you post, and I can relate. But yes, I have a natural tendency, probably inherited from my Mom, to subconsciously think I'm better than most people. Except for those smarter than me.

it probably wont be rated M. First of all because the cussing in the videos are just the players talking. i dont know that but im pretty sure because i dont think they would have the medics saying "hey man" everytime they see someone.
Second because the first one was rated T and every other battlefield game is rated T. If they were to make it M they would lose lots of money

It HAS to be rated M. You guys forgot about blood, its a major factor in video games.

Rated M for:
Intense Violence
Strong Language
Blood (possibly gore)

^^^ those 3 put together I've seen a lot, like cod 4, exact same ratings and its rated M.

BF3 Top 10 List - 64 Players: CHECK, Jets: CHECK, Balanced AA: ?, Proper Hit Detection: ?, Wide & 12+ Maps: ?, LAN/Private Match: ?, Bots/Co-op: ?, Proper Recoil/Bullet Spread: Possible Fail, Mod Tools: FAIL, Commander: FAIL.

think (sorta hope'n) it is going to be M... even though the whole rate'n thing is bunk! however, to apease those who think that rate'n a game will deter underagers from getting the game this is how it should be. it will be violent, it will be language based, and it will be violent...

but those rate'n the games (parents who have a stick so far up their arses that they can not see that the best way to get a teenager to do something or desire something is to deny them) will most likely choose M.

sorry teenies... but if you want to show your maturity to your parents, there are many things you can do... grades, chores, not being a complete * by say'n every thing is "lame"... LOL

I hope it is M, more people will take this game seriously as a real fps war game.
And I love the new F-Bombs, adds a great atmosphere to the game. And YES!
There is finally blood!

I really hope its rated T. I'm 21 but I really dont see why they need the language. I like Battlefield games because of the gameplay.(destruction) I don't need more language to know that I'm playing a war game. The blood is like uncharted 2 so thats nothing. People who need f-bombs that badly needs help lol.

hmm... thats interesting. Maybe ESRB loosened up on the ratings?? There's also a difference between intense violence and violence, and and language and strong language. There also might be drug references in the game too, so it all depends on how intense and how well animated it might be.

many of the kids do things like hack, steal the game or pirate the game, so it would make sense if they didn't particularly care if these players were happy with the game
