The window to play needs to be 2 hours at the most, maybe even 1 hour. Then all the teams could play the same tournament with a real-time leader board. I know the problems of getting everyone online at the same time but I think the positives would outweigh the negatives. They could start THe King of The Hill at 9 pm est on Saturday nights and a winner would be decide by 11 pm.
So my members from the UK need to shoot at 3am? My buddy that works the nightshift is out? Don't think this will work at all. (I do understand what you are trying to accomplish).
After further thought, my idea wouldn't work for this team event
I still think this could work as once a week Live Tournament. It could have a set start time and a 1 hour window to play .

How about in the championship you go president cup style? Set up head to head matches, alt shot matches, and four ball matches and talley up the points??? I was all for Oblong's idea, but it didnt get much attention from the rest of the community.
Could this be done?

Nevermind. I forgot this was a co-system event. It would be impossible.

Just a reminder to keep this subject on the topic of feedback to improve the Community Appreciation Challenge Events.
I've had to hide some posts which were not only off topic but TOS violations for inflammatory personal attacks.
Thanks,

Ok, I'm a Wii player so maybe this doesn't count for much in this forum, but I would like to see more prize tourneys in the weeklies and with MORE prizes. I don't give a hoot if I get a TW hat for 10th place, that would rock my pathetic geeky world. The last prize tourney was three very nice shirts, but only 3 people is really, really setting the bar high. I think small prizes for 4-10 should be pretty darn do-able, EA. And if you really want to get people (and forum threads) cooking, right before the release of 11, why not let the top 3 get a free copy a week early? That would create insane competition that week!

Hello Mike,
Thoroughly enjoying the club tournys - thanks to you and all the dev team.
I would like to see random 18's and random weather.
I appreciate that this will mean that some may play with no wind and sunny skies and others may have gale force winds and rain but this can happen during a real tournament too (if not to those extremes perhaps). I think over all, it could even out....
This would help prevent those that map the courses, even if a buddy lets their club know which holes are being used, the random weather should prevent mapping effectively.
However, I don't map so am only going on those that have explained how to do it on these boards.
Another alternative to keep community interest, is to introduce handicapping against either clubs or players, based on previous submitted scores. Higher the club or player average, the lower the handicap
This way it would be possible for all clubs to have a chance at the KOTH champs, not just those that are scoring well each week.
I fear if it is the same 2 or 3 clubs every week, some clubs will lose interest.
Thanks.
