New 1-Star Dynasty League for PS3

wcweyman24, you need to set your School Prestige to a 1 star rating. This is a showstopper. Everyone must be starting from a 1 star rating.

My apologizes for not catching it sooner. Didn't see the 5-star rating until I was setting up the custom conferences.

I will be back in a few hours and if possible get this bird off the ground before I go to sleep.

We can't go ahead and start, because you can't load a teambuilder team after the dynasty has started, right? If not, lets start and we can add that guy in when he gets his team correct. And don't forget the named roseters (I forgot and had to go back when I was commish for my league).

You're correct, Jack. Once the league starts you cannot add a TeamBuilder team; that and custom conferences have to be done when you first create the league.

I'll make a mental note to have names generated for the AI schools. Everyone here I believe has generated names for their team, but I'll double check. Again.

wcweyman24 messaged me on PSN and said he will make the needed correction tonight. When he does, I'll check for any other team changes one last time, then double-check the teams one last time, and then create the league.

I appreciate everyone's patience with the launch. I'm as anxious to get going as you are. This will be a fun league and making sure everything is right when we start will help ensure that. I'm looking forward to some good play.

The league is up. Invites have been sent. And I am starting work on custom schedules right now.

As it turned out, everyone has a conference to themselves. That should give everyone a good recruiting base, and a decent chance at a bowl game (where we'll probably end up knocking heads with each other). It should also set us up for an eventual PvP National Championship showdown!

As I said at the start, I will use custom schedules to get everyone two PvP games in the regular season. We'll see how that works and make adjustments if necessary for season 2.

BTW - Big thanks to Jack for the info on getting *real* player names in for the AI team rosters. Very nice!

The schedules are complete. Everyone has two PvP games during the regular season. Except for two teams, everyone has a starting schedule rating of between B+ and A. The two teams below that (C- both) are victims of the current state of their conferences; short of scheduling them Florida and Texas for non-con games, there wasn't anything that could be done to get them higher. And while they could end up with a better record, their conference woes could also come back and dampen their recruiting efforts a bit. We'll see.

Let's all try to get the preseason stuff done by tomorrow night. If we do, I can roll us into the first week of the season come Friday morning.

That reminds me, I didn't schedule any PvP games in Week 1. I figured we could all use the chance to get acquainted with our teams by playing the AI.

Sorry wrote this in a hurry.. Loki_Kni9ht57 is my PSN name... right now I only have a part time job while I wait to go to basic training in February-April... till then i have plenty of time to dedicate to a season and any other things you might need... thanks again

Very sorry, Loki. Once an online league has been started you can't add anymore TeamBuilder teams, and you can't customize the conferences.
