the majority of people bought skate 1 because they were tired of tony hawk and wanted a fresh skating game. the minority bought it because they wanted a more realistic alternative to tony hawk linny. also you guys really are lame on this site right now this slow skating stuff has gotten to your brains and sucked the creativity right out. all you guys seem to look at its the plain bare bones and cant even see how much awesome there is to this game. yes the story is a bit cheesy but it also looks to be simple fun and by most of the complainers comments your not into the game for the story its all about videos and such so why is it that damn big of a deal.

this forum has gotten infested with the worst mindset and its truly ruining skate i mean mediocre videos are considered good now when a while back people would have laughed at you for doing such simple slow tricks you guys stop being skaters and started becoming gamers and it needs to stop

I understand the critics, it really looks like TH game (flashy colors, almost cell shades, giant stairs,no real looking spots(the bulldozer one is so cheesy)...) but i didn't see the downtown area, there was a lot of the university and industrial area, soooo i'm a bit disappointed...

slow skating has got to my brains lol? Sorry I don't 3 push everything with 10mm man. But I think my speed is just fine didn't know it was that big of a deal next time when I play s2 I will push faster for u. Its funny you talking about creativity the guy who played S1 forever and never even put out one good video. Sorry..

What is wrong with playing realistic? The game was originally meant to be realistic remember all those S1 daily clips? Talking about it on Rob and Big? They promoted it as being the most realistic skateboarding game ever. And yea people wanted to get away from Tony Hawk but a ton of people wanted the realistic experience.

and a while back in s1 I don't think people were laughing at us the way we skated because we had such a different style, and approach from everyone else. We use to do the big gaps, all that stuff but its just too easy not challenging.

i agree realistic vids get repetitive thats why they need some kinda attributes thing that way not everyone looks the same and has different styles. Comparing S1-S2 just look how many people make videos.

i am really let down by this trailer. and now i'm worried about the game. og skate was about realism but judging from this trailer alone this game looks even less realistic than skate2...

I think it's awesome that Heshfield has his own team! Ha! Shove out of the manual looked nice, like a popless trick? Wonder if that's a standard animation?

physics looks like S2 and this is what makes me afraid... but yeah lets see

i guess not,the animations looks to be exactly the same.
as the pushing styles aren't back .they all push the same.

you can also see,when what could be described as the "HESH gang" arrives on the "battle ground",they cross their arm in the back,new hand gesture?new style?

I may agree though but not because of the landing. The roll in seems different now...Too short to be 100 % positive though. No switch / fakie in this trailer apart from this trick (and roll in is "hidden")... maybe something is coming about this

EDIT : my bad there is another switch roll in at 1:26... looks the same as S2 to me... hmmm well...

apart from that, as manolo said, animation awfully looks the same
