So by you are trying to say that someone who had 10 more tackles, 2.5 more sacks and 1 extra forced fumble should be rated 19 OVERALL POINTS HIGHER? That makes ZERO sense.

Can't argue with facts...It really is hard to put a number on intangibles when it comes to ratings, but the fact that his stats are close to Ray Lewis should have deserved more than a 77 rtg. Also he was the middle of the 3rd ranked defense so that deserves some consideration because the eagles are a much more rugged and stout D with him in there. I'm a Eagles fan but I think this is the kind of logic that should be applied across the board with all players on all teams.

You could use someone like H. Ward who has consistently been one of the top WRs as far as rtgs are concerned on Madden but its not because of his physical abilities but more to do with his intangibles, toughness, and will, that makes him a great player and perfect for the role that he plays. Also, unless you really watch and understand football stats can be misleading for example should a safety that finishes with more tkles be rated higher than say a Ed Reed simply because they may have a porous front seven which forces them to make more tackles than Ed Reed. Should M Shaub be rated higher than P. Rivers because he has more passing yds and TDs but hasn't really helped his team win like Rivers has? I don't think that this is the kind of logic that is factored into ratings that should be...I'm just saying

THis sucks because One of the reasons I buy madden is so that I can pretend to Avenge all the frustrations i have in my team losing all off season, that means madden playability. When the rosters , werent every really right in the first place, plus getting snubbed all season long, equals less playability. Especially when I have to play against the overinflated jones drews, and adrian petersons.

lol bro i never use 4th stringers UNLESS THEY PLAY. if they're in the game and not playing well then ill say so. Our team has been thrashed by injuries all season long so some 3rd stringers have been playing.
