Drew Brees

They should have did a vote of every NFL player if they're gonna let the fans decide. Like when you vote for the MLB All Star Game let us choose.

There isn't a Madden curse. If Drew brees is the game cover athlete and he gets hurt it's because of the position he plays and the hits he takes. It has nothing to do with a Madden curse. Honestly only God can curse something.

Let's just be real about this. Jared Allen is an absolute BEAST at D-end. He is one of the most feared pass rushers in the league and makes QBs pay on a consistent basis (2nd in NFL, 1st in NFC in Sacks this past season). Reggie Wayne is an elite receiver who is a mark of consistency (6 straight 1,000+ yard seasons). HOWEVER, Drew Brees is more deserving than either of the above mentioned superstars.
Besides the obvious (Super Bowl XLIV MVP), He set an NFL record for completion percentage in a season (70.6%). Also, in each of his four seasons in New Orleans, Brees has thrown for more than 4,000 yards and at least 26 touchdowns. He has led one of the NFL's most hard-luck franchises to the pinnacle of the sport; while helping one of America's most beaten down cities to rise above so much adversity. And Brees has done all of this after he suffered tears in his labrum and rotator cuff!
Call me crazy if you'd like, but Drew Brees is in the class of Brady, Manning, and Roethlisberger, and is more than deserving of the Madden NFL 11 cover.

Chris Johnson. Nobody currently in the NFL can touch 2000 yards rushing in a season. Imagine if he had a good line what he couldve done

Chris Johnson is really good, but let's keep it all in perspective. For one, he obviously had a decent line. You don't rush for over 2,000 yards and gain over 2,500 yards from scrimmage by yourself. And secondly, he just finished his second year in the league. So we shouldn't be so quick to anoint him "Great". He had a great season, a record-breaking season. But he needs more in his resume than two seasons. Lastly, the choices are Jared Allen, Drew Brees, and Reggie Wayne... Chris Johnson isn't even an option, man.

However, I do like ur profile pic and your signature... I'm a big fan of the Arizona Cardinals too !
