I did NOT buy NFSHP. Just because it is NOT supporting the Logitech Wheel range on PS3.

If, and only if, there will come a patch for ALL LOGITECH WHEEL ON PS3, I will buy the game.

I am, like so many others here on the forum, very disappointed in EA/Criterion. I counted the
days before this game hit the stores. But after hearing the many rumours from fellow gamers
it became clear that it was really true;

NFSHP was not playable with Logitech steering wheels; What a joke, what stupid, what narrowminded.
I just can't get over it. This game NEEDS to be played with a wheel... but EA/Criterion brings
racing games back to the middle ages. Are these companies runned by loonies or what?

I hope to hear some good news the coming days; a PS3 patch for ALL logitech wheels...

with my Logitech Driving Force GT it works, but i have at left and right a deadzone 10%-15%.
drfiting is also bad with steering wheel.

after every start the game i must reconfig the wheel or the controller.
i play with my controller yet, i hope the fixd the deadzone or make to config the deadzone.

I played the demo on my Xbox 360 and it did not properly support the Microsoft Steering Wheel. There were no wheel adjustments and I had to turn the wheel a long way before I could turn the car a little bit. This is indicative of a game that really does not support the wheel at all. Is this an issue in the full retail version of the game as well? I'd really like to get the game. Thank you.

After playing NFS HP, I really don't care for it as much. The world of Shift is much different than this acradish feel.
I do look forward to NFS Shift 2 in the spring of 2011. For now, I prepare my racing spirit for GT5 which releases on 11/24!
NFS HP will stay on the shelf with all the other titles - I guess it will be a collector's piece.

If a patch for Logitech's whell comes out, then I may continue playing it.

By the way - I do assume NFS SHIFT 2 will support the Logitech wheel as it's predecessor (NFS: Shift) does.

My Logitech G25 doesn't work with my pc either. seems like one axis is pushed constantly. recalibrating didn't do anything and I can't even configure the buttons. nice game

The game finds my Logitech G25 but there is a huge deadzone and no parameter to adjust it. This make the game unplayable. EA what has happend with you, the 2 latest games ar a big messup (NFSWORLD and HOT PURSUIT).

You was to fast realesing thes titels. At the moment NFSWORLD is to messed up after latest patch and now i cant even play NFSHP. I was really looking forward to this. Hope you fix this steeringwheel problem soon.

Without calibration support for the PC version I don't think I can get my Fanatec wheel to work (GT3 RS). In the controller setup I can select the wheel but when I go to set a key it assigns it to my accelerator pedal. I have tried to calibrate it in windows first and then run the game and a bunch of other failed ideas. In all my racing games I can calibrate a wheel in game.

When I install my Logitech Momo wheel it worked.

Unberfeckinleavable
It's 2010!!!!!

The G27 came out well before NFSHP!!!!!!!
How can you release a "Racing" game without wheel support??

This is just taking the urine out of NFS Fans.

EA should be ashamed.

I did finally find some information regarding this - please have a look at this forum post from the game developers themselves:

http://forum.needforspeed.com/eaforum/posts/list/3855014.page

Here's the bad news:

PS3
Generally all steering wheels based on the PS3 controller will function in NFS Hot Pursuit with the exception of Logitech and Logitech-compatible steering wheels.
* Please note that due to popular demand from the NFS Community, Criterion is working to add Logitech steering wheel support to NFS Hot Pursuit. However, at this point there is no ETA of when the support will be added to the game.
So that's the good news, I guess? They're adding support for these wheels but they have no ETA. Support for our wheels is provided only by the game developers themselves, but at least they are aware of the situation and are working to update it. Until then, the wheels won't function in these games - thank the software developers for this oversight.

Ok, no big deal. I only just spend 150€ on my brand new Driving Force GT from Logitech and NfS: HP.
GT5 is coming out in 6 days here in europe. This will be the day at which I'll replace HP by GT5 if nothing has happend and I'll propably will buy HP only used afterwards.
Best thing is, I might still use the online pass code from this version and won't even have to pay for this....
Realy disappointed here guys......

Well for once, I have to thank EB Games for not calling me about my pre-order on time.
I will not be buying NFS:HP until it supports Logitech Driving Wheels.

Funny, a driving game without the ability to use a wheel, that's so 1990's.

I won't be making the same mistake when Shift2 releases............thankfully, GT5 is out on Wednesday. What WERE you guys thinking not to include this popular wheel, when all your previous games have it ????

Epic FAIL.......big time
