Same here, PS3 FAT 160GB not even a month old keeps freezing at the same point. Not even played multiplayer yet because it keeps freezing. Thought it was because me and friend were partied but without squad still freezes.

I hate halfway developed games. We're not supposed to do the jobs of pre-development stages of a games release

Same freezing issues here in Australia!
tried to jump on last night - Restarted the PS3 8 times at the map screen/join squad screen, mates were having the same issue - got into one game with them, froze loading the next map, restarted PS3, put in MW2 - enjoyed the rest of the night!

Fix this Crap EA!!!

There may be glitches in MW2 but at least I can play the damn game,

Yea, im freezing when ever it tries to save in the online multiplayer games, I have given up trying to complete the singleplayer campaign.

Same thing happening to me. Both in multiplayer and single.
Doesn't happen every 15 minutes like it seems to with some of you, but I can count on it every hour and a half or so.

I agree, it would be very "professional" of EA/DICE to respond to some of the problems on their own forum.
Not answering seems to be a trend with Most of the new Shooter Game developers.

brand new ps3 slim here, locks randomly while playing online. I could be in the middle of arming an mcom or just reloading my gun. The system will lock up and I'll have to power it off and back on again.

I sent a ticket to support, replied back and suggested I update punkbuster and disable my windows firewall...

They didn't even bother to take the time to even read the ticket, they just pasted in the PC equivalent and moved on. They also told me to uninstall the beta version...

I sent a nice note saying "Guess I expected too much that you'd actually read the ticket".

I'm having freezing issues too. Froze on me the first day, was an hour or two in, was like no big deal happens sometimes and reset. Then couple days later freezes after a while, I figure good stopping point and shut it off. Was working great earlier today. Now when I play the mission where the squad gets split up and you got to find them, it freezes every couple minutes and have to reset ps3. If it doesn't freeze, I just lose audio, without audio it seems to not freeze but I can't play like. I reset get audio back and boom, freeze again less than 5 minutes. Have probably reset ps3 now 6 or 7 times. Pretty pissed off right now, was just getting ready to go save the pilot!

By the way, this is all on single player. Figured I would beat it in sp before playing mp(played the mp demo)and hone in on my skills but if I can't finish sp due to freezing, not sure I care to play mp(which apparently they can't seem to be prepared for and already have to upgrade).

Glad to know I am not the only one, was afraid my original 60gb fat was giving up on me and I don't play too much.

COME ON EA, DON'T LEAVE US HANGING!!

only thing i can suggest is erasing tha game data and have it reinstall see if that helps

Still crashing after the update. Last night was the worst one yet. It erased all my settings in the PS3. When I restarted the system I had to fix the AV settings, set the clock, and retrieve my user settings online.

I'm well aware that this was caused by the hard reset of the system and not directly BC2 fault, BUT the reason I had to do a hard reset was because of the game.

Still freezing after the update. After 5-10 minutes of playing it just freezes up. EVERY-SINGLE-TIME.

it looks to be a great game. but it freezes constantly. tonight it froze 4 times in one hour and I had to reset the PS3 each time.
