the alphanumerics in the brackets were different for me than the op. I would be careful replacing the individual file or even the code block unless it is the info after the brackets. you still need to search for it anyway in the file, so you might as well search. once you have changed it, it is really easy to spot for adjustments.

EDIT: PLAYED 4 CONQUEST 5 RUSH ROUNDS (PB IS ON) WITH NO PB ISSUES. Understand if people are hesitant...seems to be working fine. Jumping in and out of tanks/apcs and shooting....sensitivity is unreal.....

EDIT 2: Been playing for 3 hours. no pb issues are all

Here is a quick video: Fraps kills my frames, but you get the point. Infantry and vehicle sensitivity are independent and work great

Ya... I would not use copied files to download for this. If you notice all of the CLSID's used in there those are unique identifiers and may vary on different PC's, if you are going to make this change you should backup your existing files then manually alter your files so you have all of the proper settings.

I took the liberty of compressing the 3 edited .dbx files if anyone wants to just replace them with theirs and see what happens. here you are: http://hotfile.com/dl/33364058/32b2e71/msmoothing.rar.html

Thanks so much OP for making this thread. It helped me out tons.

Thanks for the tutorial, game play is much better now. Only downside is getting used to more responsive controls now lol.

Think this affects UAVs too.

Because when you change keys it builds a new sector in the .dbx file and uses the games default values to fill in the sensitivity.
If you change the key go back through the .dbx file and change the values of the new key setting as per the instructions.
This is just a work around...not an actual fix,but until EA patches the horrible mouse input this seems to work really well.

I tried the scheme0 set to 2.5 and I turned too slowly, so in options (all the sliders are at 0) I carefully bumped up the first sensitivity to like .15 until I turned just fast enough. Is this an ok way to do this?

Pretty sure that's just going to mess it up. Instead, follow the guide, but set scheme0 to something like 3. To be safe, never edit your game controls from the menu unless you wanna redo the fix.

My issue is that tank turrets don't see to turn any faster, maybe even slower - this is controlled by the land.dbx scale correct? i.e. I have to swipe my mouse (at 1200dpi) across my entire mouse pad for about 60 degrees of turret rotation.
