Bait & Switch? 1 punch KO's were a touted new feature and they are gone too.

Give me what I paid for.

The load screen of Paq vs. Cotto. If I crank the damage slider up, thats what I should get. But no, I am lucky to see minor redness like the guy has hayfever or allergies.

check my signature link...n spread it around...tryna get EA 2 make the game more realistic instead of nerfing it 4 ppl who suck at it

i agree...NOTHING was wrong with stamina...check out the link in my signature...n spread it around...cuz EA messed up with that tuner...n things on the game need fixing...and some other things could be added

This game was marketed as follows (and I quote): "One punch can end a fight" and "experience the true brutality of boxing".
Therefore why have the 1 punch KO's been removed and the damage drastically reduced for offline? At the very least improve the range of the current global sliders and give us a slider that allows the individual to set the 1 punch KO frequency. Thank you.

i dont think a slider is needed to adjust the frequency...because 1...some people would set it to be as frequent as possible and 2... others would set it to happen never...and that wont work for playing online. and the since it supposed to be fair, everyone supposed to have the same settings online not only that....but the 1 punch KO didnt happen enough for it to be that big of a deal, it would happen like 1/10 fights for me...i dont know about others, thing is if they're back EA will determine the freqency at which they occur in fights...most logical time would be when a person steps forward and you happen to catch them with a leaping straight or hook while they are...since you're both going forwards and they're exposed that would be a logical time for it to happen, or if you catch them in the middle of a weak punch or with a nice clean counter

I was speaking strictly for offline. EA can determine the frequency for online. If it is not restored to how it was for offline, then at least the individual user should be able to set the frequency to suit their taste.

in that case i agree with you, since offline isn't played for ranking

i think the patch/tuner set should've only affected online playing

This video is a clear example of the bait & switch that was pulled on us. Gives us the original damage and 1 punch KO's back.

Nerfing the damage to this extent was a BIG mistake.

Isnt EA embarrased to keep this thread here after they took the damage they sold the game on out of the freaking game? Shameless.

My biggest issue is still the fact that I bought 1 product and now have a totally different one which i didnt want or ask for.

Your legal rights when you buy goods

When you buy goods (including goods supplied as part of a service), the law gives you certain rights as a consumer. The law says that the goods must:

1) be of satisfactory quality. This means that the goods should be free of any faults, including minor ones. They should be of the quality that a reasonable person would expect given the description, price and any other relevant circumstances. You can take into account the appearance and finish of the goods, and whether there are any defects (including minor ones). You can also take into account whether publicized information about specific features of the goods is accurate, and whether the goods are safe when used properly
2) be fit for the purpose. This means that you must be able to use them for the purposes that you would normally expect from this type of product, or any purpose that you have told the seller you want to use them for
3) match their description. This means that if there is a verbal or written description of the goods, it must be accurate. And if you choose goods after seeing a sample, your goods must match the sample.
