Hawks' Leddy had an awesome game last one against Vancouver despite the loss.. I'd look to him to help in the shutdown of some top players of Vancouver, if he can keep up his tremendous play on Wed!

Even though Chicago didn't win the series, Crawford was AMAZING! IMO he proved to be just as good as Luongo, so if Luongo's Overall is 90, Crawford should at least be an 86-87

Crawford's rating should be higher. I have been saying this for awhile now. Not on the forum....Lines are all messed up

Should be something like
FOWARDS
Sharp Toews Kane

Frolik Bolland Hossa

Brower Kruger Smith

Stalberg Johnson Pisani

Bickell and Kopecky were injured during the Vancouver series but I would like to see at least Bickell back in since he played most of it

Defense
Keith Seabrook

Campbell Hjalmarsson

Campoli Leddy

forwards

stalberg toews kane
bickel bolland frolik
smith sharp hossa

thats how the first three lines were for nearly all of the vancouver series
and also i think from his style of play bickel should be a pwf not a grinder
he's quicker, has better moves and a better shot than most truly defensive forwards

Ok, I have one problem with the Chicago roster (now that Niemi is gone giving him a weak 84 overall rating in the offseason) and that's Patrick Sharp. I dont remember his rating for NHL 10 and thats not important anymore but starting last season I think they gave him 83 or 84 overall...

His stats from last season are 25 goals, and 41 assists for a total of 66 points, 40th overall in the NHL. Then in the playoffs he gets 22 points in as many games including a 14.5% shooting against playoff goalies.

This year, he started off the season on fire and continued well scoring 34 goals (most on the Hawks) and getting 37 assists for 71 points 20th in the NHL overall. He also was the MVP of the allstar game and I know players dont play 100% but still, hes on the ice with the best and I think got a goal and 2 assists.

And mind you his regular season states were in 74 games not 82.

In comparison to Toews with 68pts last year (yes, he was playoff mvp but points are production and he got 89 overall) and 76pts this year I think Sharp deserves a solid 85 and should have gotten that last game.

I would like to see him with reflected points in shooting and on ice awareness because hes often in the perfect spot and his shot is sick. Hes not the fastest or strongest but he is obviously one of the better players in the league and has been putting up good points now for 2 years.

Crawford needs to get a rating boost probably at least 85.

Forward lines should look like this after the update:

Sharp-Toews-Kane
Brouwer-Bolland-Hossa
Smith-Frolik-Kopecky
Bickell-Johnson-Stalberg

Defense is correct and should stay the same.

Has anyone noticed Corey Crawford giving up a lot of goals he wouldn't normally have been online?

He is ok. His weakness is his skating. Ranks near the top of the league in hits but he doesn't always throw the huge hits. Smart player. Will most likely top out at 40-50 points. Last year was kinda a down year for him. He has stretches of inconsistency but when he is on, he is good. Needs to go to the net more. When he does, he is a very effective player.

Bickell Bolland and Frolik was the 3rd line in game 6 but then Bickell got injured. Sharp Toews Kane was a great 1st line they used when the team was healthier and when they went on 8 game win streak. 2nd line had Hossa on it most of the year.

It's tough to say what the lines should be because coach Q switches them up so much.

At the very least the 1st line should be Sharp Toews Kane and the 3rd line should be Bickell Bolland Frolik.

Yeah I'm not sure why they give Luongo such a high rating. He hasn't proven to play well consistently. Lou should be in the low 80's or mid 80's. He should be around the same rating as Niemi.

Agreed, I'm just baffled that Kane and Toews are still separated and that TomKop is the center on line 3 with Frolik on the wing.
