true, but I think that people who skate in tights and are full with spidertattoos get kicked out earlier than me in my baggy jeans, DC shirt and DGK cap

This guy speaks sense, and i completely agree with what he's saying. How you look shouldn't detract from what you can do on a board.

You are right. Clothes/Race are not important in skating. But I just don't get why it takes rappers with close to no skating talent to convince people that skating is a great lifestyle. And because of these rappers, we have these trendy posers running around. Turning my culture into a meaningless fad is not something I can take lightly.

befor eyou talk crap about the pack, those guys have been skating for close to 10 years now. they actually put out a skate video about 5 years ago called Casino. Pharrel is a poser who decided skateboarding looked cool and he decided to take credit for introducing hip hop to skateboarding. (although they have been together since before he was born prolly) the bottom line is practice what you preach, and the pack does that well enough. (that actually IS young L poppin a nollieflip in the Vans music video. meanwhile you see pharrel pushin mongo. there is a lot of resentment in skate culture towards both the pack and pharrell, but definatly more towards pharrell and Thrasher even gave the pack their seal of approval
