On topic though. I personally hope Tony Hawk fails this year as well. Let's leave the skating to the pro new guys (EA) so they can move on and create a good new IP.

They dont need a new control system, that would ruin the idea of it being a tony hawk game. They need a new physics engine and better animations. even then the park editor is really the only thing tony hawk games are ever good for, but its still not fun to skate them cause the physics and animations

what im afraid of is that black box is going to try and compete with tony hawk. which is good in some ways but bad in others. for example the first tony hawk games were the best ones but then they decided to rush them and now we have the shitty tony hawk games of today. i just dont want to see skate in that position just because of a little competition. what im trying to say is ea, take your time dont feel pressured to try and get the game out at about the same time as tony hawk. i can say right now it will be hard but i could wait another two years for skate 2 if its going to be just as good as the original.

I tried playing the THPG demo and , well, just couldn't do it. That's not to say that it's a horrible game, I just couldn't do it for some odd reason.

I think the only way for them to "fall in line" with skate is to start from scratch again. re-work the entire physics engine. Not neccessarily the control schemes, just revamp the visuals on the game. that's my opinion.

The Hawkman got pwned. The only way they can have a shot is the Wii board as a ui. Other than that, they can bite flickit. Barring those two options they are dead in the water. Red Rover Red Rover, send mfukin Koston over!
