Please add the ability to use the bob-weave mechanic while stationary.
There should be two types:
1. Turning Bob-N Weave- Keep current bob-n-weave but you'll tune it so that you can slip a punch and move to the side of your opponent. Which would be useful when against the ropes to evade, and then create distance. The keep the controls using the same motions, just make the animation with a side step and turn.
2. Stationary weave- With this you can be in the middle of the ring, against the ropes or in a corner, and you can weave your body without moving your feet. The controls will require that you hold the left trigger, or "lean" modifier. This would offer a greater range of motion with your weave than the "weave and turn", although lateral movement is restricted.
2a. Using the stationary weave, should create different animations depending on where the fighter is in the ring. Use in the middle of the ring, would result in quick slips without moving their feet. When against the ropes, the fighter would use the ropes to evade punches by throwing themselves into them, making the ropes bend. And in the corner they would make themselves use the corner and dip lower. Depending on their Bob-Weave Range as I suggested earlier.
You'll see perfect examples of what I'd like in this video.

People should be able to watch or play a match on Fight Night Round 5 and be able to say "I just saw a Roy Jones fight" or "I just saw a Joe Frazier fight" and the same with every other fighter that makes it in the roster.

Have the Total Punch Control and Button Punching Mapped onto one Configuration
REASONS:
-The realistic head punching of buttons with the TPC
-You can't get the better body punching of TPC with Buttons only
-Buttons are better and MORE FUN for outside fighting
-TPC is more fun and better for inside fighting and fighting off the ropes
-Having both on one configuration would make the game a FAR MORE COMPLETE, FUN, SATISFYING BOXING SIMULATOR
NOT HAVING BOTH IS HOLDING THE EXPERIENCE BACK
I totally agree, although it would be even better to have the option to make our own hybrid control schemes the exact way we want too.

Here's what I want in Round 5:
- No counter freeze: Make counter punches happen in REAL TIME, no freezing or counter indicators.
- No block counters: Again, counters should happen in real time.. i.e. if the opponent comes in with a hook and I land a straight right, that should be considered a counter punch.
- No "bob and weave" motion: Make all "bobbing and weaving" completely player controlled. Allow FULL body motion while moving at the same time.
- No haymakers: Either get rid of them or tweak them so their not so overpowered.
- No "quicksand" effect: If you want to slow down a fighter it should be through body punching. Body punching should inhibit movement to a certain extent, especially well timed/well placed counter shots to the body.
- More punching styles: This is the one thing that FNR4 lacked. There's only 3 punching styles in the game, which just isn't enough. I would like to see the top fighters in the game fight like how they do in real life.
- Punching in clinches - Allow punching while in clinches. At the same time, make clinching more useful then it is now.
- Stiffer jabs/straight rights - Their too weak in FNR4. A stiff jab in real life can stop a fighters forward momentum or even knock him back.
- Improved animations - Improve animations to reflect realistic punches and combinations. For example, a standard left-right punch combination should have 1 hand following the other in a very quick, fluid motion. Each animation should not have to wait for the other to complete before being executed.
- Realistic graphics and presentation - FNR4 is a great looking game but some of the fighters bodies look a bit disproportionate or they look bigger/more muscular/or smaller then their real life counterparts. Also, the arenas are very dark. I would like to see realistic and accurate looking boxer models along with brightly lit venues like we see on TV.
- Better footwork - Footwork needs to be more realistic with backpeddling, sidestepping, etc. Think of the way Ali, Hopkins or Roy Jones moved around the ring, and try to emulate that.
- MORE REALISM - Self explanatory. Just aim for more realism overall.

I'd really like to see the gum shield/ mouthguard get knocked out from time to time. Not all all the time, just now and again. Maybe after after a single knockdown punch, or as his head hits the canvas.
I would also like the weave a little easier to do, perhaps configured to a button press.
The biggest irritant I have with FNR4 is the way other users just keep pushing their boxer onto you. You try and move away and he just remains stuck to you, whilst they continually go for the body. I would like to see this addressed. I like that you can infight so maybe make it easier to pull away rather than stopping the opponent from getting up close.

Now that EA is hiding records more are watching ring walks so they can see the other guys record. Usually i'll just skip it but then it says "waiting for opponent" but *, if i have to sit through it anyways i might as well see their record too. but for some random reason EA cant have the "waiting for opponent" and their record showing on the same screen.

Presentation
1. Outside views of the arenas for big fights
2. First person view for walking down to the ring, I think it would be more immersive experience
3. The tale of the tape. It's not too bad the way it is now but showing the side by side comparison with the boxers pictures and records is more authentic
4. Notable wins and losses, This can easily be done with the commentary as well

boxing is one of the american sports that is built on history. i think finght night round 4 is a good game with good special effects, but the lack of great fighters really hurts the game. you guys put tommy the gun morrison in and not rocky marciano. what a joke of a roster.

Gameplay
If a Haymaker or signature Punch is interrupted, that is a counter punch.

Abilty to put in my own entrance music, would be nice
More devastating cuts, bruises and bumps, in Fight Night Round 4 you hardly see blood trickling down your face or your opponents face
Legacy Mode
Press conferences
Tournaments such as Super Six, Prizefighter (UK) and The Contender that I can decide to join to boost my boxer's legacy
More legacy landmarks
Rumours about potential matches in the future considering my boxer

If it can't be done for FNR4... I would like to see these 3 things appear in the next series:
1) It would be sweet if we had all of the weight divisions in real life in FNR4. Here is a list of the real weight classes:
HEAVYWEIGHT (UNLIMITED)
CRUISERWEIGHT (200 POUNDS)
LIGHT HEAVYWEIGHT (175 POUNDS)
SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT (168 POUNDS)
MIDDLEWEIGHT (160 POUNDS)
JUNIOR MIDDLEWEIGHT/SUPER WELTERWEIGHT (154 POUNDS)
WELTERWEIGHT (147 POUNDS)
JUNIOR WELTERWEIGHT/SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT (140 POUNDS)
LIGHTWEIGHT (135 POUNDS)
JUNIOR LIGHTWEIGHT/SUPER FEATHERWEIGHT (130 POUNDS)
FEATHERWEIGHT (126 POUNDS)
JR. FEATHERWEIGHT/SUPER BANTAMWEIGHT (122 POUNDS)
BANTAMWEIGHT (118 POUNDS)
JR. BANTAMWEIGHT/SUPER FLYWEIGHT (115 POUNDS)
FLYWEIGHT (112 POUNDS)
JUNIOR FLYWEIGHT (108 POUNDS)
STRAWWEIGHT (105 POUNDS)
2) It would be even better if we could hold our own Title Fights (exhibition mode only) to determine champions amongst players respective FNR4 fight clubs. There are four belts that are widely respected and acknowledged in each division:
WBA/WBC/IBF/WBO
3) The ability to change a boxers weight class is imperative (especially when patches/DLC updates don't):
Nate Campbell / Robert Guerrero / Paul Malignaggi & Whoever Else
These 3 Additions Would Cater To Real Life Boxing Fans & Make The Game Perfect For Me & Others Like Me. Other Than That The Game Is About A 9.5/10 In My Opinion So Great Job EA Canada!
Thanks for the opportunity to express my wishes... for those who agree and would like to see these 3 things added to FNR4 please sign the petition below
