If Shift is, in fact, graphically a better looking game, what are the trade-offs?

Are you seriously saying Dirt 2 feels realistic to you ?
I'm the first saying Shift is not a sim, but the handling is sort of interesting. With Dirt 2, we're back to Colin Mc Rae : wheel turn, car turn. Richard Burns Rally feels much more real to me

I'm not saying anything, I'm just asking a question.

But as soon as I get the money, It's as good as bought.

Oshaylinux doesn't have the game, just likes the forum a lot?

That's probably a little way down from the top of the crazy scale now I think of it ...

No I have not bought Shift yet, besides, I was talking about buying Dirt 2.

I have found more enjoyment in these forums than I did with Prostreet and Undercover, combined. Now that's crazy!

lol.

I've spent more time on these forums in 1 week than I have racing in Shift in 1 week (excluding loading times). I've almost got it beat and I'm bored with the game.

Wait until second week of January and pick it up on Ebay for 5 bucks.

Think about it. If it took me 7 days to beat it with full time Uni and 30 hours a week of work, imagine what thousands of kids will do with a couple of weeks sitting on their * at home with their new Xmas Gift.

You keep this kind of talk up, someone(s) might just "peg" you as being a NFS "agitator" or just a NFS "hater" altogether. Surely you would not want to be cast in the same light another and/or others shine upon me in here?.....

*points at Oshay*

Hater! Agitator! Person who refuses to pay what a product is worth!!!

Now, how does this add to the discussion of graphics?

That didn't take long.

A product is only worth what someone will pay for.

The heavy overly exaggerated visuals of Shift left very little room for substance. That alone diminishes the value of the game. That is one of the reasons why I will not pay this current price.

I think that covers all aspects of your reply...
