Why did they give Shutt`s #22 to Kaberle?

I`m happy for Kaberle,played a decent game.
It makes the transition on the ice and in the room a lot easier.

He didn`t shame the #22 either.

If he can provide that on a consistent basis, then he`ll be around till the end of his contract.

How can a guy getting paid 7 mil per season suck so badly?

You rename him as "Gomez", there you go

If the number is not retired, I really don't care if somebody "big" wore the number before. I would prefer Cole wearing #27 instead of ugly #72 and even if it was Kovalev's number, I don't mind. Heck, Gomez got #11 and I really don't care even if Capt'n Koivu wore it for a long time.

Anyways, Mara played with #22... lol. Kaberle can't do worst than him, though I liked the guy.

I forgot that Mara was wearing it,......what a FAIL that was too.

I'm assuming because they can't just retire every good player that ever played for them's number, or they'd be in the 90's. They had to draw the line somewhere, and they picked Shutt, who if he played on an expansion team would have probably had his jersey in the rafters the day he hung his skates up.

JM gone.....!

It`s a nightmare in Montreal.

I`ll get the lines and stuff sorted out as the Habs get things figured out.

I`ll also add my suggested lines, lineup moves, drafts, trades, etc for Season and BaGm modes during the rest of the season after the New Year.(this won`t be on the first page though.)

they fired him and the really hard working no flash players Like Georges started going on about how no one was playing like a team or listening to the coach, while the "snipers" like Cammellari threw Jacques under the bus. Sounds like there's more trouble in MTL than just bad coaching, and now they got this Cunneyworth trying to piece it together, it's gonna be a bad season.

It's all nice to blame the coach, but at the end of the day when you got players like Gionta, Cammo and Gomer getting chances and not scoring, there's not a lot the coach can do, you're hired because you're already supposed to know how to score. If you ever watch the habs, it's not that they aren't getting chances, they are, they just friggin' miss the net more than any other team out there it seems, and there's nothing a coach can do about that.

It isn`t over yet.

Gauthier will be done as GM as soon as they can figure out who to replace him with.
I don`t think there will be any player moves done until he is gone,......and I`m sure they are working on finding the new guy already.

Cunnyworth will be replaced as head coach sometime before the trade deadline.
Who gets the job? Don Hay has been mentioned. Carbonneau,Larry Robinson.....

There will be some player moves once things get sorted out.

Not really. 80+ is reserved for veteran players, rookies are usually in the 70's.
