I find myself coming back to this game now more than Skate 2. I kinda stopped playing 2 after awhile, and moved on to other games for the most part. But popped in Skate 1 the other day and realized, it is more charming, the spots are nicer, the whole feel of the game is more polished, and somehow skating feels more rewarding and challenging (the lower camera angle maybe?) compared to Skate 2. Of course it's floaty and the spinning of the board is way too fast but it still feels so nice to come back to this game every now and then.

Anyone else?

Every now and then yeah jus to remember the roots, but with the great online community in skate 2 i dont think ill be ejecting that disc for a while!

both games are floaty, skate 2 more so than skate 1, but yeah i stopped playing skate 2 as well, looks like i'll be playing it instead of skate 3 too since its skate 2's twin .

I go back every once in a while, but never more than 20 minutes or so, I just can't get into it like I used to since S2 dropped.

OMG thrasher....i was like 13 when it came out.

id love to see a skate or die 3

but id also like to have skate 3 right now

I feel you homie! It's like I always said to everybody!!! SKATE is the beginning for this all! Respect the classic... I play between skate and skate 2 as well and well yeah Skate (1) is just my fav!

I think S1 has a more realistic vibe, better sound, and spots. I love skate 2 because of the filmer pack only not because of the new tricks. Anyways the least blackbox could have got right was crails and crunts lol what were they thinking?
