Did you see something weird in the game or are experiencing something you don't feel is working properly? This is the spot to pass on your issue. This thread is not so much about asking questions about how to do something in the game as it is about reporting issues. Now that we all know what this thread is for, here's how you should pass on your issue. Please use the following format:

Console I was playing on: (XBOX 360 or PS3)

Mode of the game I was playing: EASHL (EA SPORTS Hockey Leauge), OTP (Online Team Play), Online Game, Be A GM

My issue is: Clearly detail the issue you're experiencing. Try and recreate all of the steps before you experienced your issue. What game settings were you using? When exactly did it happen? The more detail the better.

Thanks for passing on anything you've come across. An EA staff member may reach out to you privately for more detail about any issue you report, so keep an eye on your PM box if you do report something.

Some trouble shoot methods for people who are seeing crashes or unreadable disk errors:

1) Make sure router firmware is up to date
a. We have seen issues where a user’s out of date firmware has caused issues.
i. After update the issue appeared to be less frequent and sometimes completely gone

2) Clear the system cache
a. Do this through the Xbox Live system settings
i. Will not affect save files on your games
ii. But title updates will need to be redownloaded

If you are experiencing issues with the game, please feel free to PM me directly with the following info and I will pass this on to the devs to help assist with recreating and fixing them.

a) Gamertag / PSNid
b) Time of the issue
c) Game mode (offline or online)
d) Club names if applicable
e) Opponent names if applicable
f) Geographical location (East coast? West coast?)
g) Time of issue occurring
h) Connection type
i) Router model if applicable

My game is not loading... Brand new game, midnight release no scratches no nothing... Put in the game and within one minute it wont load and says disc unreadable. I took the game out reset the box and am currently trying to install to hard drive... NOT WORKING!!! I'm sweating and pissed... headed back to switch discs now and see if another works...

EDIT:

Fixed, went and traded discs, something was up with that disc. Sounded like it was killing my xbox. One I just got works fine...

Mode of the game I was playing: Editing lines.

My issue is: The list where you pick the players from sometimes only show two or three names, while the rest is just black. You can still select players, but you don't see who it is until the player shows up on the line you placed him on. Problem dissapears if you back out of Edit lines and go back in again.

My issue is: The "Autheniticity" setting in which you select either Authentic, Position Lock, or No line Changes. I currently have it set to Position Lock. When I am in a game, if I go to the bench for a line change, I don't control the player coming on the ice. I just sit back and watch the game be played. During the prospects game, I was even forced to watch the computer play my character for the entire third period.

Go to My Pro in the main menu... don't remember what you should select then, but it's one of the alternatives under that.... you will also find the Pro Shop and the Performance Tracker here.

Problem: Have X-box Live, full internet connection, unable to connect to EA servers. I've been attempting to connect for the past 2 hrs with/without router, still unable to connect to EA servers

Game Mode: All

Problem: When going downwards on the ice with the controls set to "always up" the left analog aiming is inverted. Pressing down shoots the puck up, while pressing up shoots the puck down. This glitch was first encountered with NHL09 (at the game's first release the deking controls were reversed, ie. left=right and right=left. then when the patch was released the deking was corrected, but the aiming was then reversed) and now it rears it's ugly head again in NHL10. Just want "always up" to truly mean "always up" as it did in NHL08. Please advise.

Im getting a disc error everytime i start it up saying the disc is dirty. No scratches nothing. I went back to gamestop and got another. Still same problem.

Playing BAP on PS3, and when trying to save a replay the game froze and made the PS3 unresponsive. The HDD indicator was still blinking, but there was no activity on the screen.

I let it go for well over 10 minutes, just in case it was a temporary glitch, but there was still no change on the screen.

Console: PS3 20Gig

Game mode: When playing a hockey match. (Not in the lobby).

I purchased NHL 10 for the ps3 today and every time I put the game in and try to play any match offline or online the ps3 shuts down and flashes red. My ps3 works fine with NHL 09 and every other game I have. They all play fine without any problems. I also have purchased 2 NHL 10s and they both do it. So its not just that particular disc. I also have an 80 Gig ps3 in another room and it plays the NHL 10 just fine. I also reset the settings on the 20 Gig ps3 and tried running the game and it still does the same thing. Just thought I would let you guys know so you can release a patch. I think its an older ps3 model problem.

if a player is called for a penalty shot, the penalized player is still going to the penalty box as well. If a penalty shot is awarded that would negate the power play, thus the penalized player would return to the ice on the ensuing faceoff.(unless the rule changed secretly)

Ok for Ps3 in online Vs mode i took goalie my aponant went behind my net and passed it infront of the net, where my Centerman intercepted the puck and shot it toward my goal, luckily he shot it wide but my own defencman redirected in for him.. then after that goal on a diferant play my defencman scored another one on me. WTF?? why are the cpu players on my own team taking shots at their own net? Second of all online play is constant freezes i had to reboot over nine times and for of those times were in online Vs mode. Am i going to get DNF's for crappy freezes i have no control over?

everytime i try to download the roster update or play a game online by downloading the automatic online roster update i lose connection to the ea servers. However, i do not get signed out of xbox live. what am i supposed to do?
