Does anybody else freeze up in the online lobbies several times a day??!!

WTF is the deal with this EA?!! Do you even test the game out before putting it on shelves??!!

Exactly, the lobbies freeze up about 7 times daily. When i start a game i ask my opponent if it happens to them, and everybody has said "all the time"... yet support keeps tryijng to pretend it's on my end and wants me to delete files and make a new PSN name.

Talk about support being clueless. They should look in the mirror and look up the word beta and try testing their game before putting it on the shelves. They can't even make it out of the menus before having errors. Pathetic planning and horrible management skills to let this go through to production.

im having this exact same problem and im getting tired of it. i cant even start a game.

Same here - super annoying. Eventually, I can get a game. Sometimes though, it's 5-7 lobby freezes before I do. Many of those require a power cycle.

It's not my hardware or connection. Totally unacceptable. FIX IT!!

I have had this happen several times and every time I have had to hard power down my PS3. I have noticed that for me it only happens when I enter beginner lobby 2 which is strange so lately I have been avoiding two. The last three days only one freeze and again it was lobby 2 so not sure what the deal is but EA needs to fix.

I'm 0 for 3 this morning. Annoying.

It's even worse on NCAA FB 10. There's a tremendous amount of lag when trying to enter one of the rooms.

sigh, no s ! i just bought a brand new ps3 slim and picked up the new madden to start playing online and when i am in the chat box online is locks up EVERY TIME , wtf is up with this EA? its not just a few customers here and there alot of us are having this issue, patch it asap we spent all this $ on you , you can patch it ffs !

This is unacceptable EA. My game freezes almost every damn time i am in a lobby. As much as i love playing online you have totally ruined this part of the game. How the hell can you ship a game like this and let the problem linger for 2 f'ing months while pushing DLC instead? Get a f'ing patch out so we can play the game. I have bought Madden almost every year since 94. This is not a way to treat a customer.

This is driving me crazy. Locks up the whole system. I'm on ps3 are xbox360 users having the same issue?

Anyone from EA read these threads? If they do, then they just don’t give a $hit. Endless complaints about freezing, peer to connection lost, and so on, and so on. This game has been out for 2 months. I bought this game the day it came out, as I always do, and it’s been nothing but disappointing. I’ve wasted hours, and hours trying to not get it to freeze, hoping I don’t get disconnected. Resetting my router, cable modem, and ps3 over and over. I’m so tired of this. I just want to play Madden online.

EA said they want to replace my game disk, like that’s the problem. Everyone’s game disks need to be replaced? Is this some kind of joke, what the hell is going on at EA? They obviously don’t give a $hit. Is this a professional company? I’m a software developer, and if my $hit worked like Madden 2010 I’d be out of a job!
