So the Zonda ranks in on a numerical value at 20.5. My friend says an upgraded Lambo Murcialgo is 20.95 on the scale. So what's the highest overall numerical value that anyone has seen attached to a car, upgraded or not? Careful not to say which is "the best" car - just which is the best rated on the in game scale. And then of course, with or without the numerical rating, which do you think is the best car and why? What cars are being used to post the fastest lap times online ? Is one getting an overall better result on the boards than another?

My Lambo Murc gets 20.99, highest I've seen out of any car.

The Corvette has a 20.00 rating, but I think it's much better than the Murcielago. I haven't spent too much time tuning, but so far I'm about four seconds faster on Spa with the Corvette. My only gripe with this car is that it slides a lot in a very arcady fashion.

I'll upgrade both and give them a shot, I think I'll be prefering the Lambo considering it's AWD - a bit easier to get around the track; perhaps at least for online play?

First I thought to Z06 where way to hard to handle, but after some tuning to make it grippier I have to agree that it's the best car. It's easy to break-turn it into curves to make it hold the race line at higher speeds that the other cars without losing grip too. Bradbury I really like your 6:28 around Nordschleiffe. I'd be watching if you post some more vidz

Thanks. You won't have to wait very long. I've made 13 videos with a 13.98 rated GT-R. I'm going to make one at Silverstone as well, and maybe also Tokyo Circuit, then I'll upload them all.

The Z06 is too bouncy to grip well, at least on some sytems. Sometimes the bounciness is obvious, at other times, the car just doesn't grip as well. On the other hand I can set downforce to 0 front 1 rear on the Zonda R and run sub 6:20 at Nordschliefe, and sub 1:09's at Willow Springs. This is with all assists off, autoclutch off and manual shift.

The R35 with the Works pack is my fav car to drive out of all of them, may not be the fastest but it is the most fun around corners, next to it's older bro the R34.

One car to look at would be the Audi R8 if you want a car that handles really well. For a car that is not Works upgradable, that one rocks!!! Love the way AWD cars handle in this game, wish Shift had the 911 Turbo AWD version or the RUF CTR2 Sport. Have to agree with the Works Vette being better to drive than the Works LP640, but I also like the Works Viper for certain tracks. Huge fan of the Nissan GTR's (my personal favorite for any and all games, including this one) but would also give the Lotus props for handling, but for me on PS3 both top out at 150-160 mph!!! One thing I don't understand is how my ratings are different from others. One post talked about videos with the GTR being 13.98 for a rating and with my GTR's they rate 12.50 for the Works R34, 14.14 for the R35 SpecV and 15.60 for the Works R35. My Works LP640 is rated 20.99 and someone said their's was 20.95. Is there a difference between the platforms?

Eventually, everyone finds themselves travelling on the same path where Fate meets Destiny... So, do you know where you're going?
PS3 \ DS3 controller when playing Shift, Hot Pursuit (2010) and Shift 2 Unleashed. PC player for most other NFS games. |

I would say that the GT-R SpecV has more Oompha but the R8 might have a litt more Schwooosh.
