My I advise you don't change the proportions of the image where you scale it unevenly as it distorts the image.

im sorry but not being a fan boy but i have to say nba live 10's player faces all around look so much better im not into 2ks buldging eyes its really annoying
2k dwade looks weird, tony parker on 2k looks like the scream mask, 2k ray allen looks like someones grandfather, 2k dwight just uh i dont know

IMO... according to how they compare with real players, not the graphics.

chris pauls eyes are to light in 2k10 i understand he has light brown eyes but that looks hazel (nit pickin just like 2k fanboys)

I'm going to go on a limb and say the facial mapping has been substantially improved by both companies this year. But my edge for crown has to go to Live. Crisper, brighter, and just the subtle details are undeniable.

O yes, of course star players are going to be payed great attention to by both companies... but what about your every day NBA role player? How much detail does EA and 2k give to those players? Well, lets look and see... I'm going to use two players from the Sacramento Kings, probably the least cared about team in both games.

The thing I don't like about 2K10 is the bland colors(I do know there's a difference between video and instant replay pics; field of depth, etc) and the way the players eyes look. If you look deeply at D-12, D-Wade, Kobe, O.J., and Bron's pics, you would think they were serial killers or they just look weird. They just look FREAKY. Plus, Blake Griffin shouldn't look that "light-skinned" in 2K10 and Chris Paul's eyes aren't light hazel, they are a light brown color.

As far as the Blake Griffins go, I think that the 2k definitely has more detail (freckels/mark under right eye) but the wierd * look in his eyes ruin it to the point where it looks horrible. It could be just some facial expression but whatever it is, it throws off the look. The live one doesn't look very much like Griffin at all either, it just looks less wierd. So bad all the way around.

No Homo But Chris paul gotta type baby face, he always looked like he was a young cat. Blake Griffin looks too white. All the 2K player models have big glossy eyes.

They both have their good and bad but when comparing these players:
James: 2K
Mayo: 2k (Not even a close comparison)
Bryant: 2k
Paul: 2k
Wade: Live
Parker: Live
Arenas: 2k
Allen: Live
Howard: 2k
Griffin: 2k
Overall live did a good job with most of the star players but some of the uglier ones that stood out were Duncan, B. Roy, and Monta.
